Epistle for the Feast Day of the Circumcision
Titus 2:11-15.

The Epistle appointed to be read during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass today is taken from Saint Paul's Epistle to Bishop Titus, Chapter 2, Verses 11-15.

Beloved,  The Grace of God our Savior hath appeared to all men; instructing us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and justly, and godly in this world, looking for the Blessed Hope and coming of the Glory of the Great God and our Savior Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and might cleanse to Himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works. These things speak, and exhort, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Gospel for the Feast Day of the Circumcision

Luke 2:21.

Please stand for the Holy Gospel.

The Gospel appointed to be read during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass today is taken from the Holy Gospel of Saint Luke, Chapter 2, Verse  21:

At that time, after eight days were accomplished, that the child should be circumcised, His Name was called JESUS, which was called by the Angel, before He was conceived in the womb.

Thus far are the words of today's Holy Gospel.

Please be seated.

“His name was called JESUS.” (GOSPEL - Luke 2:21).
In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.

“He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross. For which cause God also hath exalted Him, and hath given Him a name which is above all names:  That in the Name of Jesus every knee should bow [genuflect], of those that are in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth:  And that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:8-11).

You read in the Acts of the Apostles, that, after the Apostles had been scourged, “they indeed went from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer reproach for the Name of Jesus.” (Acts of the Apostles 5:41).

In doing this, they truly carried their cross and were thus stamped in the image of Christ that they might continue the work of redemption by the same means that Christ had used.

The question then arises, what would any of us do if any of us found ourselves in the shoes of the Apostles?  For the Holy Name of Jesus, could any of us suffer persecution, of whatsoever kind, and afterwards be able to rejoice that we were accounted worthy to suffer reproach for the name of Jesus?

Many decades ago, We was visiting a retired Priest of the Diocese in which We grew up. He lived directly across the street, from what had been a pre-Synod Vatican 2 parish church, built in about 1930, in a small house with his Mother.  Father had known Us personally for many years.  He enjoyed talking about the good-old days before Synod Vatican 2 and the changes of which he strongly detested.  As a matter of fact, he had an Altar in his home at which he offered Mass, using the same pre-Vatican 2 Missal that We use!  On one visit, he gave Us a Crucifix large enough that it could be used on the Altar when Offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  We have kept that Crucifix all these decades.

During the course of one of a number of different visits, during his conversation with Us, he began to make a few observations about martyrdom.  He pointed out how the Holy Martyrs throughout the history of the Church, most especially during the first three centuries, suffered terrible, cruel, and very painful deaths at the hands of their persecutors, especially on orders of the pagan Roman Emperors.

Father commented about how there can be no denying that their martyrdoms, by which they literally and physically suffered and died for the Holy Name of Jesus, were horribly painful for them and that these great Saints must be respected for their Heroic Act of Martyrdom which is a very special Grace.

Father made it very clear that these holy Martyrs deserve our greatest respect, admiration, and veneration.  This has always been the Holy Tradition and Sacred Patrimony of the Catholic Church for almost 2,000 years.  He explained that they are justly entitled to the great Glory of Heaven and their special bejeweled crowns of victory in having suffered and died for the Holy Name of Jesus.

Father then commented about what was then the present time.  Again, this was many decades ago.  He mentioned how, yes, the Holy Martyrs of the past had justly earned their eternal reward in Heaven.  But Father then went on to explain how today, Catholics who try to remain faithful to Tradition, in a certain sense, are also “martyrs”.  But please, do NOT take this LITERALLYFather’s meaning is allegorical!

Because the martyrs of today are LIVING “Martyrs”, allegorically speaking, who faithfully profess their Catholic Faith by assisting at a valid Catholic TRADITIONAL Rite of Mass and by receiving valid  TRADITIONAL Sacraments, in the modern-day Catacombs, because we do not have access to what were once Catholic Church buildings.  The persecution which today’s LIVING “Martyrs” suffer is on-going.

This allegorical “martyrdom”, by which one profess the unchangeable Catholic Faith, in contradistinction to the always-changing, heretical and apostate. Synod Vatican 2  pseudo-church, is not over in a few seconds, minutes, or hours, as it was for the early Martyrs, but rather this allegorical, not literal, “martyrdom” will be with Faithful Catholics, who are Faithful to the unchangeable Tradition of the Catholic Church, until Divine intervention stops it.

Catholics who, by the Grace of God, try to remain faithful to the authentic Apostolic Tradition of the Catholic Church, are either directly, or indirectly, persecuted for their profession of Catholic Tradition by the always-changing, heretical and apostate. Synod Vatican 2  pseudo-church, which Father Malachi Martin S.J. describes in his book “Windswept House” as Satanic.

Therefore, in contemporaneous terms this morning, this means that each and everyone of us is - in some way - persecuted by this -   Satanic, and always-changing, heretical and apostate. Synod Vatican 2  pseudo-church.   The Prelates and Priests in the modern-day Catacombs, have been persecuted by this anti-God cult  because of their courage in telling the Truth to the Catholic Laity.

In addition, consider how the early history of the Catholic Church records the persecutions of anti-Catholic Infiltrators against Patriarch Saint Athanasius of Alexandria, Egypt, who is called the “Father of Catholic Orthodoxy”, a title he earned the hard way by defending the unchangeable Holy Catholic Faith at the First Ścumenical Council, the First Council of Nicæa (Council of Nicæa I [Saturday, June 20, 325 A.D. - Tuesday, August 25, 325 A.D.]), against the diabolical heresy of an Infiltrator who had  infiltrated the Patriarchate of Alexandria, Egypt, known to history as Father Arius of Alexandria.  This Infiltrator promoted the heresy that Jesus Christ is not God.

As a result, despite the condemnation of the heresy of Arianism by the First Ścumenical Council, the First Council of Nicæa, His Beatitude, Patriarch Saint Athanasius of Alexandria, Egypt, was exiled several times from his Patriarchal See of Alexandria.  It was during one of these exiles, that Patriarch Saint Athanasius of Alexandria tried to console his flock which had been thrown out of their church buildings by the Arian heretics.

Trying to console his flock, Patriarch Saint Athanasius wrote a letter to them in which he said in part:

“May God console you! ... What saddens you ... is the fact that others have occupied the Churches by violence, while during this time you are on the outside. It is a fact that they have the premises -- but you have the Apostolic Faith. They can occupy our churches, but they are outside the True Faith. You remain outside the places of worship, but the faith dwells within you. Let us consider: WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT, THE PLACE OR THE FAITH? THE TRUE FAITH, OBVIOUSLY.  Who has lost and who has won in this struggle -- the one who keeps the premises or the one who keeps the Faith?”

“True, the premises are good when the Apostolic Faith is preached there; they are holy if everything takes place there in a holy way ...”

You are the ones who are happy; you who remain within the Church by your Faith, who hold firmly to the foundations of the Faith which has come down to you from Apostolic Tradition, and if an execrable jealously has tried to shake it in a number of occasions, it has not succeeded. They are the ones who have broken away from it in the present crisis.”

“No one, ever, will prevail against your Faith, beloved brothers, and We believe that God will give us our Churches back some day.”

“Thus, the more violently they try to occupy the places of worship, the more they separate themselves from the Church. They claim that they represent the Church but in reality they are the ones who are expelling themselves from it and going astray.”

Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the True Church of Jesus Christ.” (Patriarch Saint Athanasius [b. Alexandria, Egypt 296 A.D. - d. Alexandria, Egypt on Wednesday, May 2, 373A.D.], Patriarch of Alexandria, Egypt, Father of Orthodoxy in the Catholic Church, Coll. Selecta SS. Eccl. Patrum., Caillu and Guillou, Volume 32, pp 411-412; emphasis added).

Yes, today almost all real Catholics are in what some describe as a modern-day Catacombs. But, let no one lose heart or give up.  Rather, thank the good God for your unchangeable Catholic Faith! It is very sad that most Catholics today, who, by the Grace of God, have remained steadfast and firm in the unchangeable Holy Catholic Faith, have no place to go to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and/or to receive the Sacraments.

All that most real Catholics, with a few rare exceptions, can do today is to Spiritually attend Mass and to make a Spiritual Communion, and to read the Sermons on this web site, because the anti-Catholic Infiltrators, including, but not limited to, the NEW Theology Theologians, with their changes of the changes of the changes of the changes of the changes, the Communists, the Freemasons, the Illuminati, the Pedophiles, the Satanists, etc. at their CONVENTION called Synod Vatican 2 [Thursday, October 11, 1962 - Wednesday, December 8, 1965], hijacked the Roman Catholic Church and took almost total control of the Vatican and put their own henchmen into positions of power at every level of authority, not only in the Vatican, but world-wide as well.  The Contents page of this web site has many links to prove this is true.

If you talk with anyone of these anti-Catholic Infiltrators, everyone of them will tell you that he is a "Catholic", especially the  pseudo-Catholic Priests and pseudo-Catholic Bishops!

They are very polished and well-rehersed so that what they say sounds good - but the Truth is that what they say is not   good and sound because it is subtle heresy which takes advantage of the gross ignorance of most Catholic Laity concerning the unchangeable Truths of the Holy Catholic Faith, Mass, and Sacraments.

The bottom line is this:  all of the so-called pseudo-Catholic Priests and pseudo-Catholic Bishops who are in union with the Vatican today are either ignorant of the Catholic Faith, and thus speak from the profundity of their learned ignorance, or they are secret members of that cabal of anti-Catholic Infiltrators who have so destroyed the Roman Catholic Church, especially over the last 50 years, that the only thing really Catholic is a name that represents an empty shell.

But for those who confront and/or write and/or speak against what such so-called pseudo-Catholic Priests and pseudo-Catholic Bishops   have done, they are usually criticized, condemned, and denounced as not being Catholic and not in union with Rome.

Why would any real Catholic want to be in union with the Vatican today which is the headquarters of the cabal of the anti-Catholic Infiltrators who have turned the Vatican into nothing more than the Kingdom of Lies!?    Truly, Truth is Treason in the Kingdom of Lies!

But in the end, Satan and his human agents will be overcome by the Holy Name of Jesus, by He Who is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

The Holy Word of God Testifies:

These shall fight with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, because He is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and they that are with Him are Called, and Elect, and Faithful.” (Apocalypse 17:14; emphasis added).

The human agents of Satan shall be cast into Hell:

“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war with Him that sat upon the horse, and with His army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who wrought signs before him, wherewith he seduced them who received the character of the beast, and who adored his image.  These two were cast alive into the pool of fire, burning with brimstone. And the rest were slain by the sword of Him that sitteth upon the horse, which proceedeth out of His mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh.”  (Apocalypse 19:19-21; emphasis added).

Part of the Rewards of Those Who Remain Faithful:

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes:  and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away.... I, Jesus, have sent My Angel, to testify to you these things in the churches.”  (Apocalypse 21:4; 22:16; emphasis added).

Resolutions

The Speaker and the Hearers
The Writer and the Readers

It can neither profit me, the speaker, to speak, nor you, the hearers, to hear, unless we comply with the things which are spoken, ...so let us not limit the display of our zeal to hearing only, but let us observe what is said in our deeds. For it is indeed a good thing to spend time continually in hearing the Divine oracles: but this good thing becomes useless when the benefit to be derived from hearing is not linked with it.”   (Patriarch Saint John Chrysostom [b. Antioch, c. 347 A.D. - d. at Commana in Pontus on Friday, September 14, 407 A.D.], Patriarch of Constantinople [Thursday, February 26, 398 A.D. - Thursday, June 24, 404 A.D.], exiled from his See the 2nd time on Thursday, June 24, 404 A.D., Father and Doctor of the Catholic Church. Sermon on Romans 12:20; emphasis added.)

Let us now review our resolutions:

For our resolutions, let all of us, by the Grace of God, firmly resolve to pray that God will give you the Graces you need to always remain faithful to Him and to the UNCHANGEABLE - One, Holy, Catholic Faith of the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation, as you patiently and courageously pick up your holy cross of an allegorical “martyrdom” every day and faithfully carry it, in the imitation of Christ,  thanking the good God that He has accounted you worthy to patiently, courageously, and silently suffer for the Holy Name of Jesus as allegorical living Martyrs of the One, Holy, Catholic Faith of the Catholic Church, and by which fidelity you glorify God, give good example to all, and earn for yourselves the treasure of eternal beatitude in Heaven where you will see God face to face and meditate upon the Infinite Holiness of the Name of Jesus for which YOU have worked so hard to defend!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
