Question 1

WHY Should Pope John-Paul II
Be Canonized a Saint?

santo subito - sainthood fast
Signs in the Crowd
During the Funeral of JP-2.

Pope B-16 Announcing Fast Track
For JP-2 Canonization
May 13, 2005

The Question

Rumors are flying Pope Benedict XVI will canonize his predecessor, Pope John-Paul II, a Saint, maybe this week (May 13, 2005)?

But WHY should Pope John-Paul II be canonized a saint?

What did Pope John-Paul II do that makes him a saint?  I wonder how a real saint would permit his pedophile clergy to run amuck on his watch for years and years?!  Pope John-Paul II is supposed to be charge of the church, so don't tell me he did not know what was going on!

Why would a great saint do this and other stuff, which any real saint shant ever do, like talk up heresies, especially about Heaven and Hell that made the front cover of supermarket tabloids.

What about Pope John-Paul II making up his own nude porno liturgies, and his own pagan liturgies, like the Tilak mass and the Aztec mass?

Sure, I prayed for him when he was shot.  Nobody deserves to be shot and killed, or physically hurt.  That is a big mortal sin and one goes Hell for it.

Sure, Pope John-Paul II is real popular among the youth because he tells them if it feels good do it in so many words, because his Clergy preach: "God is not in the punishment business"!

No wonder Pope John-Paul II is so popular with millions of Catholics of all ages!  Who wouldn't be popular telling people to go commit all the sins they want because Hell is not a place of eternal pain and terrible sufferings?

What is wrong with Catholics today?!

Are Catholics today so dumb that they do not know what the Catechism teaches about Purgatory and about Hell?!

Pope John-Paul II failed to teach accountability and responsibility to God for anything. Are all Catholics supposed to imitate Pope John-Paul II, the great saint, who failed to be accountable and take full responsibility for the pedophile clergy running thousands of parishes around the world?

Just do whatever you want to do because everyone is saved!   I guess this means mass-murderers like Hitler, Stalin, and all other crazies are in "heaven"?!  Their "heaven" sounds more like "hell" to me.

Pope John-Paul II is also popular with some ethnic groups, and others who like his acting on the world stage.  I heard some non-catholics calling him Bozo the clown.  That is what they think of this professional actor.

Pope John-Paul II's canonization has turned into a popularity contest? What did Pope John-Paul II do that was "catholic" or "saintly"?

Did he ever teach what the Catholic Church has taught for almost 2,000 years?  When I read my catechism, it seems to me Pope John-Paul II taught just the opposite of what Catholics have to believe!

Jesus says to be in the world, but not of the world.  Looks to me like the world was in Pope John-Paul II?

I wanted to vomit when I heard Pope John Paul II, the GREAT pedophile protector, is going to be made a saint!

I wanted to vomit when I heard Pope John Paul II, the GREAT nude porno pope, is going to be made a saint!

To me it is like talking about making the nude porno "Playboy" guy, H. Heffner, a saint!

To me it is like talking about making the Jew-killer, Hitler, a saint!

Or making the Communist butcher, Stalin, a saint!

Or making Communist Karl Marx, whose books John Paul 2 liked so much to read (especially during the Papal Conclave that elected JP-1 a pope), a saint!

Am I wrong or did the Vatican propaganda guys brainwash millions of Catholics with their well-organized, and professionally made, santo subito (it means: "sainthood fast") signs at Pope John-Paul II's funeral, followed up by Pope Benedict XVI putting Pope John-Paul II on the fast track to canonization?

God bless you.

The Answer in General

Dear A.T.:

Thank you for your concern and your questions.

This is obviously an extremely emotional subject for certain people.

Because anyone can say anything, it is very important that one must use a method which uses objective, factual proof for basic statements of the Truth.

Is it not reasonable to surmise that many Readers of this web page have had some of the same experiences which others of us have also had?

For example:  Not all people are objective.  And some of these people put up a virtual “wall”.  There can be different reasons for this:

1)  Because of their own personal doubts or ignorance about a certain subject.  This is frequently due to their partial, or even total, lack of knowledge about the subject matter under discussion.

2) Because of their own personal fears or anxieties about a certain subject.  This is frequently due to being tormented by their irrational fears that they are “probably wrong” and that the other person is “always right”.  But their egotistical pride blocks them from wanting to know the objective Truth about the subject matter under discussion.  Thus, they choose to be a "slave" to ignorance rather than being "freed" by the Truth.

For these and/or other reasons, it frequently happens that such people tend not to be “open” to any position, except to their own position.  They do not want to examine the objective facts which relate to the subject matter at hand, irregardless on which “side” they might be, while failing to realize that Truth does not really have any “sides” to it because Truth is what it is.  Something is either True or not True.  The sad reality is that those people who are not “open” to learn the objective Truth about a certain subject are intellectually dishonest to themselves and to others.

It seems that during any discussion there is at least one person who lacks common courtesy and refuses to let the other person involved be permitted to try to objectively state his/her case, just as the other person first had permitted the discourteous person to have the opportunity to peacefully state his/her case.  Such an act is unjust and unfair to the courteous, kind, thoughtful, patient person.  It is also indicative of the non-practice of the Virtue of Charity, as well as the non-practice of the Virtue of Justice.

Unfortunately, not everyone has learned the basic rules of etiquette regarding what to do, and what not to do, whether in a formal debate, or, what is more common, in a much less formal debate, i.e. during a common discussion of a certain subject matter.

Apparently driven by an inordinate extreme emotionalism, which serves only to blind the mind of the person who is “hitting the panic button”, simply because his/her position is not being immediately and unequivocally accepted by the other person, in extreme cases, whether due to stress, ignorance, fear, pride, or whatever, the person who submits to his/her inordinate passions tends to blurt out things which are verbally abusive because such people too often take things "personal" and are either unable and ill-suited to take a much more calm, peaceful, rational, objective approach and position.

Most Readers probably have been on the receiving end of verbal abuse which is merely an exercise of one or more fallacies?

All fallacies, and there are many of them, are actual falsehoods.  Falsehoods are errors when the person spewing them out is ignorant of the fact that such falsehoods are errors.

Falsehoods are lies when the person telling them is aware of the fact that he/she is saying something which is not true.

Here are a few random examples of such fallacies which you also may have encountered over the years?

1)  “Clean out your ears!”

2)  “Zip your mouth shut!”

3)  “I (or: he/she/they) will nail you to the cross!”

This is the fallacy known as the “Argumentum ad Baculum” - Argument to Force.

The ARGUMENTUM AD BACULUM, ARGUMENT TO FORCE, is a fallacy which appeals to force, whether verbal force and/or physical force. Such a fallacy fails to perceive reality since:

“To knock a person down - whether verbally and/or physically - when he/she differs from you in opinion - may prove your strength, but hardly your logic.”
Shouting one’s phrases, thumping the pulpit, shaking one’s fist at an imaginary opponent, or a real opponent, and other forms of violence in any manner, including physically attacking someone with a knife or shooting at them, are all part of the fallacy of the ARGUMENTUM AD BACULUM.

One fallacy which is extremely insidious is called hate speech.  Hate speech  consists of only lies, verbal deceptions, fallacies, falsehoods, and/or a combination thereof.  Hate speech  is the exact opposite of the Truth.

Various types of immoral propagandists label the Truth about something, or somebody, or about a certain group of people - who/which take(s) great offense and/or scandal at the Truth which is told about it/them - hate speech.

On the contrary,

“If people are scandalized at the Truth, it is better to allow the birth of scandal, than to abandon the Truth” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory I, the Great, [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], Homily on Ezechiel, 7; cited by Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, Summa Theologica, Part II-II, Question 43, Article 7).
Therefore, to call a Truth about someone or something - hate speech - is,  ironically, a classical example of hate speech!!

Why?  Because in doing this nonsense, Truth is automatically classified as hate speech!!

Nevertheless, the real, objective, unchangeable Truth about Truth is that:

God is Truth” (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, Summa Theologica, Part I, Question 16, Article 5; Summa Theologica, Part II-II, Question 93, Article 2, Reply to Objection 2. Summa Contra Gentiles, Book I, Chapter 60) because God the Son, Jesus Christ, the Eternal Divine Logos, teaches:
“I am the way, and the Truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
So, when a person speaks or writes the Truth, because what is spoken, or what is written, is the Truth, this means that the Truth spoken or written is from God, specifically from the Third Person of the Most Holy Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, as the Angelic Doctor teaches:
“Every Truth without exception, and whoever may utter it, is from the Holy Ghost”  (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, Summa Theologica, Part I-II, Question 109, Article 1, Reply to Objection 1).
Because God is Truth, and because God is the Truth, and because every Truth...is from God the Holy Ghost, what this also means is that Truth can never change because the God of Truth, Who is Truth, can never change as the Scripture testifies:
With the Father of Light [God] there is no change nor shadow of alteration” (James 1:17) because God Himself tells all of us: “I am the Lord and I change not” (Malachias 2:6).
In practical, realistic, rational terms this means that when a Catholic Priest or Prelate exposes fallacies, falsehoods, errors, and heresies - which is part of his job description - said Catholic Priest or Prelate does NOT engage in hate speech just because he exposes said fallacies, falsehoods, errors, and heresies.

Or, in the words of an Infallible Roman Catholic Pope:

Whenever it becomes necessary to expose statements which disguise some suspected error or danger under the veil of ambiguity, one must denounce the perverse meaning under which the error opposed to Catholic Truth is camouflaged(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius VI, Giovanni Angelo Braschi [Wednesday, February 15, 1775 - Thursday, August 29, 1799], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical“Auctorem Fidei,” Thursday, August 28, 1794, ¶ 6; emphasis added).
Hence, whenever a Catholic Priest or Prelate determines that it has become necessary to expose statements which disguise some suspected error or danger under the veil of ambiguity, the said Catholic Priest or Prelate must denounce the perverse meaning under which the error opposed to Catholic Truth is camouflaged.

The act of denouncing the perverse meaning under which the error opposed to Catholic Truth is camouflaged  is NOT hate speech as those who are thereby exposed would be wont to complain about their error(s) being exposed.  For such heretics to try to condemned the said Catholic Priest or Prelate as having engaged in the crime of hate speech is absurd, irrational, and an example of the bigotry against the Truth.

Furthermore, it is as if such bigots, such hate mongers, whose LIES have been exposed by the said Catholic Priest or Prelate, and who have warned all Catholics against such LIES, such errors, such heresies, try to claim that Truth is hate speech, while they conveniently ignore the fact that their own perversions of the Truth, i.e. their own LIES, are in Truth and in Fact, actual hate speech against the Truth and therefore also against God Who is Truth, against God Who is the Truth, and against God the Holy Ghost from Whom every Truth comes.

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius VI was following in the footsteps of one of his Predecessors who had even more to say on this subject of speaking out against errors and heresies:

The crafty Tempter never delights so much in wounding the hearts of men as when he can poison their unwary minds with errors [heresies] that are opposed to Gospel Truth, we must strive by the mighty teaching of the Holy Ghost to prevent Christian knowledge from being perverted by the devil’s falsehoods. And against this danger it behooves the rulers [Prelates-Bishops, Archbishops, etc.] of the churches especially to guard and to avert from the minds of simple folk, [heretical] lies which are colored by a certain show of Truth [i.e. by using “double-talk”, ambiguity, etc. to teach heresy, but make it appear to be only the Truth, but instead admix parts of Truth to their lies to attempt to gain credibility].  ‘How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it!’  (Matthew 7:14).”

“And they seek to entrap men, not so much by watching their actions, but by very deceptive innocuous distinctions of meaning, corrupting the force of the meaning of sentences by some very slight addition or change [i.e. by deceptive phraseology and subtle, vague heretical equivocity], whereby sometimes a statement, which is made for [eternal] salvation, is turned into [eternal] destruction by an imperceptible  change.

“But since the Apostle says, ‘For there must be also heresies: that they also, who are approved, may be made manifest among you’ [1 Corinthians 9:19], it tends to the progress of the whole Church, that, whenever wickedness reveals itself in setting forth wrong opinions, the things which are harmful be not concealed, and that what will inevitably end in ruin may not injure the innocence of others.

“Wherefore, they must put down their blind wanderings and downfalls to themselves, who with rash obstinacy prefer to glory in their shame than to accept the offered remedy.”

You do right, Brother, to be displeased at their stubbornness, and We commend you for holding fast that teaching which has come down to us from the Blessed Apostles and the Holy Fathers  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo I [Saturday, September 29, 440 - Thursday, November 10, 461],  using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Letter CXXIX [129], To Patriarch Proterius, Patriarch of Alexandria, Egypt, ¶ 1; emphasis added).

To be corrupting the force of the meaning of sentences by some very slight addition or change [i.e. by deceptive phraseology and subtle, vague heretical equivocity] - THIS is the True, the real, hate speech.

For the said Catholic Priest or Prelate, to warn all Catholics by exposing the deceptions of heretics who attempt to corrupt the force of the meaning of sentences by some very slight addition or change [i.e. by deceptive phraseology and subtle, vague heretical equivocity]is NOT an act of  hate speech, but instead it is an act of the said Catholic Priest or Prelate being responsible by warning all Catholics about such errors and heresies!

What happens is that those who are in fact guilty of hate speech, when they are discovered and exposed, try to impute to those who expose these heretics that of which these heretics themselves are guilty, i.e. the fallacy called hate speech.  But who is really guilty of making such deceptive innocuous distinctions of meaning??

It is clearly NOT the said Catholic Priest or Prelate who warned all Catholics by exposing the deceptions of these heretics who play with words so much that words no longer have any meaning for them so that, lacking any cogent defense, such heretics accuse the said Catholic Priest or Prelate of the fallacy of hate speech  while they, themselves, in the process of accusing the said Catholic Priest or Prelate of hate speech use real hate speech to accuse those who exposed their errors and heresies - the said Catholic Priest or Prelate!

In other words, such heretics who scream and yell hate speech desperately try to shift the focus from themselves to those who exposed their errors, heresies, and lies!

IF this does not work, then they try to confuse people by telling them, in so many words, that the people did not see what they saw and that the people did not hear what they heard!  Don't insult our intelligence!!!

Unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines

For now, rather than get totally bogged down with the laws regarding the canonization process, it seems to be more wise and prudent to focus on the Unchangeable Deposit of the Catholic Faith which contains the Unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines of the Catholic Church.

Catholicus Saint Basil the Great

Dogmas of Faith cannot be changed one jot or tittle.”

(Catholicus Saint Basil the Great [b. Caesarea, Cappadocia 329 A.D. - d. Caesarea, Cappadocia on Monday, January 1, 379 A.D.]. His Mother was Emmelia, the Daughter of a holy martyr.  He was the Catholicus of Caesarea, Metropolitan Archbishop of Cappadocia, Exarch of Pontus, Superior of fifty Chorepiscopi [Sunday, June 14, 370 A.D. - Monday, January 1, 379 A.D.], Doctor of the Catholic Church, “De Spiritu Sancto”, Chapter 1, ¶ 2; emphasis added).

Why?  Because any candidate for canonization, in this case Pope John-Paul II, must be examined on a number of important subjects.

One such important subject matter is the answer to this question:

Did Pope John-Paul II, who held the office of an official teacher in the church, preach and teach - always consistently - without any exceptions, whether verbally, and/or in writing, and/or by his actions, and/or by his policies, the Unchangeable Deposit of the Catholic Faith, which contains the Unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines of the Catholic Church, when he was pope, as did his Canonized Predecessors?
The objective, truthful answer must be either:  “Yes” or “No”.

In order to get the objective, truthful answer to this question, it is necessary to follow the various historical precedents of the Catholic Church which includes the use of the objective principles of the Science of Scholastic Philosophy and the Science of Scholastic Theology, especially Thomistic Theology, concerning objective Truth.

Because some Readers are probably not familiar with the importance of Scholastic Philosophy today, here is something to prayerfully ponder:

“38. ..it is abundantly clear how great and how eager is the passion of such men for INNOVATION. In all Catholicism there is absolutely nothing on which it does not fasten. They wish philosophy to be reformed.. SCHOLASTIC PHILOSOPHY to be relegated to the history of philosophy.. young men.. taught modern philosophy which alone is true and suited to the times in which we live.”

They desire the reform of theology.. [with] modern philosophy for its foundation.. history.. must be written and taught only according to their methods.. In the Catechism no dogmas are to be inserted except those that have been reformed and are within the capacity of the people. Regarding worship, they say, the number of external devotions is to he reduced, and steps must be taken to prevent their further increase.. a share in ecclesiastical government should.. be given to the lower ranks of the clergy and even to the laity.. authority which is too much concentrated should be decentralized.”

With regard to morals, they adopt the principle of the AMERICANISTS, that the active virtues are more important than the passive, and are to be more encouraged in practice.. the clergy should return to their primitive humility and poverty, and that in their ideas and action they should admit the principles of Modernism...”

What is there left in the Church which is not to be reformed by them and according to their principles?”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope, Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto [Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis, On the Doctrine of the Modernists, Sunday, September 8, 1907).

Likewise, because some Readers are probably not familiar with the importance of Scholastic Theology today, please also prayerfully ponder how the heretical innovators in the past have not only attacked Scholastic Philosophy, but also Scholastic Theology, primarily Thomistic Theology.

For example:

“§ 10.   ....The utility of the Universal Church moves Us, which can be always more and more richly captivated by the erudition of such a Doctor [Saint Bonaventure], especially when the ambushes and the diabolical machinations of heretics, by which they oppose most vehemently, in this sad age, that Sacred Theology, which is called Scholastic, admonish Us greatly, that We should retain, explain, and propagate this same Theology, as something which nothing can be more fruitful for the Church of God....”

“For with the Divine gift of Him, Who alone gives the Spirit of Knowledge (Scientia) and Wisdom and Understanding, and Who furnishes His Church... with new benefits, and Who provides Her with new supports... Scholastic Theology, which by two Doctors glorious above all, the Angelic Saint Thomas [Aquinas, O.P.], and the Seraphic Saint Bonaventure, the most brilliant Professors in this capacity...  such a salutary understanding and practice of this science, which spread abroad from the richest sources of Divine letters, Roman Pontiffs, Holy Fathers and Councils, could certainly always bring the greatest assistance to the Church... to detect and refute the various errors and heresies. .... this (kind of theology) is necessary to sensibly confirm the dogmas of the Catholic Faith and confute heresies.”

“And... the judges are the very enemies themselves of the Truth, by whom Scholastic Theology has become dreadful to the greatest degree, who scarcely understand, by that apt and inner connected coherence of things and causes, in that order and arrangement, as by the training of soldiers in fighting, with those lucid definitions and distinctions, by that firmness of arguments and the sharpest disputations, that light is distinguished from shadows, and the true from the false, and their mendacity, involuted with many deceptions and fallacies, like a vestment borne away, is brought to light and stripped bare.”

Therefore, inasmuch as these men begin to fight and overturn this most fortified citadel of Scholastic Theology, so much more does it befit us to defend this unconquered defense of the Faith, and both to conserve and keep safe the inheritance of Our Fathers... ” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Sixtus V, Felice Peretti [Wednesday, April 24, 1585 - Monday, August 27, 1590], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Decretal Letter “Triumphantis Hierusalem”,  in which St. Bonaventure, the Seraphic Doctor, Cardinal Bishop of Alba, is numbered among the exceptional and extraordinary Doctors of the Holy Catholic Church, § 10; emphasis added).

With the help of these tools, it will be easier to examine what Pope John-Paul II said - verbally and in writing - and what he did:
Was what Pope John-Paul II said - verbally and in writing - and what he did consistent with the Unchangeable Deposit of the Catholic Faith which contains the Unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines of the Catholic Church?”  Either “Yes” or “No”.
Returning to A.T.'s concerns and questions:
But WHY should Pope John-Paul II be canonized a saint?  What did Pope John-Paul II do that makes him a saint?
with the use of the above tools, it will be much easier to arrive at a fair, unbiased, truthful answer to the above questions which are summarized in this question:
Did Pope John-Paul II, who held the office of an official teacher in the church, preach and teach - always consistently - without any exceptions, whether verbally, and/or in writing, and/or by his actions, and/or by his policies, the Unchangeable Deposit of the Catholic Faith, which contains the Unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines of the Catholic Church, when he was pope, as did his Canonized Predecessors?”
The objective, truthful answer must be either:  “Yes” or “No”.

Thank you for reading!  God Bless You!

Should Pope John-Paul II
Be Canonized a Saint?

Only if "Yes" is the Answer to this Question:

Did Pope John-Paul II, who held the office of an official teacher in the church, preach and teach - always consistently - without any exceptions, whether verbally, and/or in writing, and/or by his actions, and/or by his policies, the Unchangeable Deposit of the Catholic Faith, which contains the Unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines of the Catholic Church, when he was pope, as did his Canonized Predecessors?”
Dear Readers,

To begin to answer this question more specifically, first it is necessary to give you a brief background introduction to various objective facts.

The first point is how history tends to repeat itself, especially today, as both the merits, as well as the demerits, of the possible canonization of Pope John Paul II, are being discussed more and more frequently, by more and more people, both by Catholics and by non-Catholics.

History Tends to Repeat Itself

For example, St. Gregory of Nyssa, tells us that during the long protracted religious controversy between the Catholic Church and the Arian church, which taught the Arian heresy, an evil spirit of dogmatical strife invaded all classes of society, especially in the East at Constantinople, modern day Istanbul, Turkey.

People from all walks of life, from the head of state - the Emperor, to the merchants, to ordinary people, all of them became accustomed to make the most sublime Mysteries of the Catholic Faith the subjects of their daily disputations with each other, just as today people talk about the weather or sports or media personalities or TV programs, etc.

These people began, dogmatizing amidst their ordinary occupations concerning the theological subject of the generation, or non-generation, of God the Son, whether or not He was subject to God the Father, and upon other such exalted themes according to one Church Historian.  (Rev. J. J. Ignaz Von Döllinger, D.D., “A History of the Church”, Translated from the German by the Rev. Edward Cox, D.D., Volume II, pp.  118-119).

Some people may object by claiming that they simply “know” that so-and-so is a “saint”?!

But is this mentality really any different from that found at Constantinople in the above historical example?  Assuredly, with all of the very best of intentions, it is one thing for the Laity to discuss theological matters, whether it concerns the theological subject of the generation, or non-generation, of God the Son and whether or not He was subject to God the Father, and whether or not so-and-so has met the required criteria to be canonized a “saint”, and quite another thing for the Laity - and even the Clergy for that matter - to prove what they say since anyone can say anything!

Historically, over the last 2,000 years, it is self-evident that most Catholics have never studied - nor have they ever been required to study - Philosophy and Theology.  Just as today, so also, for example, during the first half of the 20th Century,  most Catholics never studied - nor were they ever required to study - not only Philosophy and Theology, but also, more specifically, the sciences of Scholastic Philosophy, Thomistic Theology, Church History, Patristics, Canon Law, Casuistry, etc., etc.

As a Pastor, it has been Our personal experience that the vast majority of Roman Catholics, sad to say, do not know, or do not remember, or were never taught, or never wanted to learn, the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church for Grade School Level which is the pre-Vatican 2 Baltimore Catechism.

So it should be no surprise to anyone that, insofar as the Laity are concerned, sad to say, Our personal experiences tell Us that the above sciences are not within the recognized purview of the Laity to form conclusions based upon the methods of such said sciences.

By the same token, the exact same conclusion also applies to almost all of the younger Clergy, whether Priests or Prelates, because the pre-Vatican 2 Seminary Curriculum was changed so that - based upon what We were personally told by various younger Clergy - post-Vatican 2 Seminary Curriculum is void of such required basics as Scholastic Philosophy and Thomistic Theology which were required before Vatican 2 by the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII for one example.  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Æterni Patris, On the Restoration of Christian Philosophy, Monday, August 4, 1879. ¶ ¶ 14 - 23, 25,  28 - 31).

The Profession of Faith

We were also personally told, likewise by various younger Clergy, that The Profession of Faith is no longer taken by Seminary Professors and others.  This is contrary to the laws of the Roman Catholic Church.

Historically, the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IV, Giovanni Angelo De Medici [Friday, December 25, 1559 - Thursday, December 9, 1565], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Papal Bulla Injunctum Nobis, Friday, November 13, 1564 A.D., which contains the text of The Profession of Faith.

For historical reference purposes, and in terms of objective and factual historical proof, and objective and factual historical evidence, the historical record of those required to take this Solemn Profession are delineated as follows in the pre-Vatican 2, 1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 1406:

 CANON 1406

§  The following are bound by the obligation of making the Profession of Faith in accordance with the formula approved by the Apostolic See:

1.  In the presence of the presiding officer or his delegate, all who attend an ecumenical or a particular council or a diocesan synod with an effective vote or the right to counsel; the presiding office makes it in the presence of the council or the synod.

2.  In the presence of the dean of the Sacred College, of the cardinals first in rank among the cardinal priests and the cardinal deacons, and of the cardinal chamberlain, those who have been promoted to the cardinalitial rank;

3.  In the presence of a delegate of the Holy See, those who have been promoted to an episcopal see, even a non-residential see, or to the post of governing an abbacy nullius, a prelacy nullius, a vicariate apostolic, or a prefecture apostolic;

4.  In the presence of the cathedral chapter, the capitular vicar (in the presence of the board of consultors, the administrator);

5.  In the presence of the local ordinary or his delegate and of the chapter, those promoted to be capitular dignitaries or canons;

6.  In the presence of the local ordinary or his delegate and of the other consultors, those appointed to the post of diocesan consultor;

7.  In the presence of the local ordinary or his delegate, the vicar general; pastors and all who have received any benefice, even a manual one, to which the care of souls is attached; in seminaries, at the beginning of each scholastic year or at least when the post is assumed, the rector and the instructors in sacred theology, canon law, and philosophy; all who are to be promoted to the order of subdiaconate; censors of books; and, before faculties are given for the exercise of these functions, priests who are to be assigned to the hearing of confessions, and sacred preachers;

8.  In the presence of the ordinary or his delegate, the rector of a university or a faculty; in the presence of the rector of the university or of the faculty or of his delegate, all the professors in a canonically established university or faculty, at the beginning of each scholastic year or at least when the post is assumed; and also those who, having passed their examination, are to be awarded academic degrees;

9.  In the presence of the appointing chapter or the superior or their delegate, superiors in clerical religious institutes.

§ 2.  When anyone, giving up a previous appointment, obtains another office, benefice, or dignity of the same kind, he must again make the profession of faith in accordance with this canon.
(English translation from:  John A. Abbo, S.T.L, J.C.D., Jerome D. Hannan, A.M., LL.B., S.T.D., J.C.D., The Sacred Canons, A Concise Presentation of the Current Disciplinary Norms of the Church, Volume II (Canons 870-2414), pp. 642-644; emphasis added.)
In addition to what We were personally told by various younger Clergy concerning the Profession of Faith no longer being taken by those who had been required to take it before Vatican 2, they also told Us that the Oath Against Modernism has also been thrown out.

The Oath Against Modernism

The Oath Against Modernism came about because of the infiltration of Modernist Heretics into various Roman Catholic Seminaries, parishes, etc.

For example:

“43. And here we have already

some of the artifices employed by Modernists to exploit their wares. What efforts do they not make to win new recruits! They seize upon Professorships in the Seminaries and universities, and gradually make of them Chairs of Pestilence. In Sermons from the Pulpit they disseminate their doctrines,

although possibly in utterances which are veiled. In congresses they express their teachings more openly. In their social gatherings they introduce them and commend them to others. Under their own names and under pseudonyms they publish numbers of books, newspapers, reviews, and

sometimes one and the same writer adopts a variety of pseudonyms to trap the incautious reader into believing in a multitude of Modernist writers.

In short, with feverish activity they leave nothing untried in act, speech, and writing. And with what result?

We have to deplore the spectacle of many young men, once full of promise and capable of rendering great services to the Church, now gone astray.

It is also a subject of grief to Us that many others who, while they certainly do not go so far as the former, have yet been

so infected by breathing a poisoned atmosphere,

as to think, speak, and write with a degree of laxity which ill becomes a Catholic.

They are to be found among the Laity, and in the ranks of the Clergy,

and they are not wanting even in the last place where one might expect to meet them, in Religious Communities...” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto [Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical “Pascendi Dominici Gregis” - On the Doctrine of the Modernists [Sunday, September 8, 1907], paragraph # 43, emphasis added).

We were also personally told, likewise by various younger Clergy, that, just as The Profession of Faith is no longer taken by Seminary Professors and others, so also, neither is The Oath Against Modernism taken anymore either!  Again, this is also contrary to the laws of the Roman Catholic Church.

Historically, the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto [Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Papal Motu Proprio - on his own initiative - “Sacrorum Antistitum”, Thursday, September 1, 1910, [AAS, 2-655; Fontes, n. 689, Volume III, p. 774]), which contains the text of  The Oath Against Modernism.

When is The Oath Against Modernism to be taken?

In general, it is required to be taken immediately after the Profession of Faith by all those mentioned in Canon 1406 who are required to make the Profession of Faith. Specifically, it is to be taken after the Profession of Faith in the presence of the respective superiors by all those mentioned in Canon 1406, § 1, 5, 7, 8, 9.

In addition, the following are also required to take the Oath after making the Profession of Faith:  all those promoted to benefices, whether or not the care of souls is attached to them; officials in episcopal curias and in ecclesiastical tribunals, inclusive of judges; Lenten preachers; the officials of Roman tribunals and congregations; and teachers in religious institutes.

Since the Oath must be taken by the specified teachers at the beginning of every scholastic year, the Profession of Faith must be taken by them every year also, since the latter must always precede the Oath on the occasions when the Oath is required. (Acta Apostolicae Sedis, Decree of the Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office, March 22, 1918, Volume X, page 136.)

Liturgically, it has historically been required that the Profession of Faith be taken during the Administration of Sub-Deaconate by all candidates for Sub-Deaconate.

Assuredly, the foregoing should logically raise another factual historical question regarding the Popes of the Roman Catholic Church, should it not?  If not, why not?

One of the logical questions concerning Popes would be IF the Popes have, historically, also been required to take some kind of public Oath of Office, something akin to the Oath of Office taken by the President-Elect of the U.S.A.?

The answer is “yes” and is found in what is called the “Oath of the Pope-Elect”, sometimes called the Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect, which is taken by the Pope-Elect before he actually becomes the Pope.

Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect

I VOW:

TO  CHANGE  NOTHING of the received Tradition, and nothing thereof, I have found before me guarded by my God pleasing predecessors, to encroach to alter [change], or to permit ANY  INNOVATION therein;

To the contrary: with glowing affection as Her truly faithful student and successor, to reverently safeguard the passed on good, with my whole strength and utmost effort;

To cleanse all that is in contradiction with canonical order that may surface;

To  GUARD  the Holy Canons and Decrees of our Popes likewise as Divine Ordinances of Heaven, because I am conscious of Thee, Whose place I take through the Grace of God, Whose Vicarship I possess with Thy support, being subject to severest accounting before Thy Divine Tribunal over all that I confess.

If I should undertake to act in anything of contrary sense, or should permit that it will be executed, Thou willst not be merciful to me on the dreadful day of Divine Justice.

Accordingly, without exclusion, WE  SUBJECT  TO  SEVEREST  EXCOMMUNICATION anyone - BE  IT  OURSELF or be it another - who would dare to undertake ANYTHING   NEW in contradiction to this Constituted Evangelic Tradition and the Purity of the Orthodox Faith and the Christian Religion, or would seek TO  CHANGE  ANYTHING by his opposing efforts, or would concur with those who undertake such a BLASPHEMOUS  VENTURE.

Laws and Truth

The above data has been used in Ecclesiastical Tribunals in order to determine if a specific member of the Clergy, especially a Priest or a Prelate (Bishops, Archbishop, Metropolitan Archbishop, Primate, etc.) has violated the Sacred Office.

Every organization, every institution, has certain rules and regulations - in some cases these are called “laws” - which must be followed in order to become and to remain a member of that organization.  Without rules, regulations, and laws, good order does not, and can not, exist in any organization, any institution, any church, no matter how constituted.  Chaos is indicative of confusion, contradiction, change, changes of the changes of the changes, and lack of good order.

The Roman Catholic Church is no exception.  Historically, it is because of its rules, regulations, and laws, that the Roman Catholic Church has been able to maintain good order, and thus a certain modicum of peace and stability for her members.  Those who are adverse to this are wont to cause the opposite - the lack of peace and the lack of stability - in Anglo-Saxon English such people are troublemakers.  Change for the sake of change is not only counter productive, it is ruinous and destructive. One can easily identify such as these by their actions, by what they do or try to do.

This is not a matter of personal opinion.  Even Jesus Christ clearly taught this where He says in the Gospel:

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16  By their fruits you shall know them.  Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17   Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit.
19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire.
20   Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
21  Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven:  but he that doth the will of My Father Who is in Heaven, he shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
22   Many will say to me in that day:  Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?
23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from Me, you that work iniquity.  (Matthew 7:15-23).
It is not a matter of anyone judging such as these, but rather of such evil people publicly rendering judgement upon themselves by their own actions, by what they actually do, by putting a label upon themselves which identifies them as whatever it is that their actions proclaim them to be,

irregardless any and all sophistry to the opposite to try to convince the unwary and the foolish that what they saw they really did not see, and that what they heard, they really did not hear - even when it is on video tape!

But those who live a real Spiritual Life, a Life of the Practice of Virtue, know and observe the difference - which objective, rational, realistic process of reasoning is called “making a judgement”, which means drawing an objective conclusion based upon absolute certitude, between fruit which is good and fruit which is rotten; between a tree that is healthy and a tree that is dead; between an act that is good and an act that is evil.

God the Holy Ghost reminds all of us against all perverse, unwise, irrational, evil thinking where He writes through the pen of the Prophet:

5:20. Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil:

that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. (Isaias 5:20).

This is a condemnation of those who knowingly and willingly look and observe some act that is evil and think it is good or consider it to be good, whether because they have lost their moral compass, or they have “deadened” their conscience by ordering their conscience -
“Don’t put that guilt trip on me!”
- or they are
haters of the Truth
who despise the Truth, liking/loving that which is untrue, liking/loving that which is a lie, liking/loving that which is false, liking/loving that which is evil.

As a result, God frequently condemns those who hate the Truth:

“...because they receive not the love of the Truth, that they might be saved.

Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying:   That all may be judged who have not believed the Truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11).

Truth

Dear Readers,

What follows is for those who are lovers of the Truth.  We respectfully and humbly ask you to please refresh your memories about the subject of Truth in what follows.

“What Truth can come from that which is false?”  (Ecclesiasticus  34:4).

“These then are the things which you shall do: Speak ye Truth every one to his neighbour; judge ye Truth and judgment of peace in your gates” (Zacharias 8:16).

“And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

“For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the Truth, but will be turned unto fables (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

“Anyone who conceals the Truth for fear of some authority calls down the wrath of God upon himself, because he fears men more than God...Both are guilty:  he who conceals the Truth and he who speaks falsehood, because the former does not wish to make the Truth known and the latter desires not to refute it” (Bishop Saint Augustine, a.k.a. Aurelius Augustinus [b. Tagaste, Africa, Saturday, November 13, 354 A.D. - d. Hippo Regia, Africa, Wednesday, August 28, 430 A.D.], Bishop of Hippo Regia, Father and Doctor of the Catholic Church, the Doctor of Grace, a protégé of Patriarch Saint Ambrose [b. in Gaul, possibly at Trier, Arles, or Lyons in 340 A.D. - d. at Milan, Italy on Friday, April 4, 397 A.D.] Patriarch of Milan [374 A.D. - Friday, April 4, 397 A.D.], Ad Casulanus, Cause 11, Question 3, Quisquis.)

“When a man is out of the right way, the more quickly and impetuously he advances, the more he errs.”  (Bishop Saint Augustine, a.k.a. Aurelius Augustinus, Enarr. in Psalm XXXI [31], n. 4.] Quoted by the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Depuis Le Jour, On the Education of the Clergy, Friday, September 8, 1899, ¶ 40; emphasis added.)

Truth cannot be Truth’s  contrary  (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church,  Summa Contra Gentiles, Volume IV, Chapter 8).

“Truth knows no distinction of persons.  Therefore, he who speaks the Truth is invincible, dispute with whom he may”  (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, Commentary on Job, Chapter 13, Lesson 2).

“The declared enemies of God and His Church, heretics and schismatics, must be criticized as much as possible, as long as Truth is not denied. It is a work of charity to shout:

Here is the wolf!

when it enters the flock or anywhere else(Saint Francis de Sales, “Introduction to the Devout Life”, Part III, Chapter 29).

In other words, it is NOT misnomered  hate speech, but instead, It is a work of Charity to shout:  Here is the wolf!

With this necessary background data, it is now time to objectively and factually consider whether or not Pope JP-2 should be Canonized a Saint.

Should Pope JP-2 Be Canonized a Saint?

“Do not heed BY WHOM a thing is said, BUT rather WHAT is said.”  (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., Doctor of the Church,  Letter to Brother John; emphasis added.)

“It is a shorter thing and sooner done to write heresies than to answer them.”  (Sir Saint Thomas More,  [b. at London, England in 1477 A.D. - d. martyred, at Tower Hill, London, England, on Saturday, July 6, 1535 A.D.] THE APOLOGY OF SIR THOMAS MORE, April 1533 A.D.).

Dear Readers,

Some of you are probably aware of the story - whether true or false - of how the ostrich likes to bury its head in the sand when it begins to rain, apparently because if its head does not get wet, it matters not how wet its huge body gets in a rainstorm?

Sad to say, sometimes some people are like the ostrich, preferring to bury their heads in the sand of ignorance that to hold their heads up and feel the refreshing, cleansing, healing, and invigorating rain of Truth?

Others tend to want to surround themselves with a virtual wall of various kinds, sometimes complete with a virtual moat, with which - through horrible fears of the Truth - they try to “protect” themselves from learning the Truth in their kingdom of self-isolation and self-imprisonment!

Why Fear the Truth?

Without a doubt, it can be a very easy thing to be caught up into a highly emotional, very subjective, reaction to the Truth, especially whenever the Truth is what a person chooses to deliberately not want to know.  Some people prefer to go into a state of denial concerning the Truth either from fear, from peer pressure, from pride and ego, or from one or another other reason(s).

But why fear the Truth?  Does not Christ Himself teach all of us:

“And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
The Truth frees all of us from being chained and bound to errors, lies, and falsehoods.

God is Truth

The Truth is more than just our “friend”, so to speak, because Truth is also “God” as the Scripture testifies:

“Jesus saith to him:  I am the way, and the Truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
This explains why the Angelic Doctor teaches:
“God is Truth” (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, Summa Theologica, Part I, Question 16, Article 5; Summa Theologica, Part II-II, Question 93, Article 2, Reply to Objection 2. Summa Contra Gentiles, Book I, Chapter 60).
Truth brings with it renewed Hope as one Commentator on the Angelic Doctor explains in part:
“We can sum up all this doctrine on the knowledge of God in the one profound statement: God is Truth. For Truth is in an intellect when that intellect knows a thing as it really is; Truth is in a thing, when it measures up to the intellect which caused it; God's essence not only measures up to His intellect, it is His intellect; God's intellect not only knows His essence, it is His essence. This is the Immutable First Truth, the foundation of all other Truths. Every other Truth participates in this First Truth or ceases to be Truth: the world of reality as it measures up to the Divine Exemplar; created minds when, measuring up to the world of reality, they get a glimpse of the Divine Exemplar. When we touch upon Truth we are in the shadow of Divinity; when we embrace it, we are ennobled by the contact to a degree easily recognizable by all men. In the world of reason, love of Truth produces the philosopher; in the world of affairs it produces the gentleman; in the world of Grace it produces the Saint. The respect given these men is the spontaneous tribute given to Divine Messengers. Humanity doffs its cap or makes its curtsey and goes its way with renewed hope; God is Truth” (Father Walter Farrell, O.P., S.T.D., S.T.M., [b. Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday, July 21,1902 A.D. -  d. River Forest, Illinois on Friday, November 23, 1951 A.D.], a Moral Theologian, Member of the Thomistic Institute, A Companion to the Summa, Volume 1, Chapter IV, The Vision of God; emphasis added).
Hope is the handmaid of Truth, so to speak, because Truth is absolute - what is true today, is true tomorrow, and is true for all eternity because “Truth cannot be Truth’s contrary”  (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., Summa Contra Gentiles, Book IV, Chapter 8).

This also means that Truth can never change because the God of Truth, Who is Truth, can never change as the Scripture testifies:

“With the Father of Light [God] there is no change nor shadow of alteration” (James 1:17) because God Himself tells all of us: I am the Lord and I change not (Malachias 2:6).
Because it is true that “By their fruits you shall know them” (Matthew 7:16), together, let all of us examine the “fruits”, i.e. the acts of Pope John Paul II, i.e. what Pope John Paul II did - what he taught and what he otherwise did to see what kind of “fruit” we find - does JP-2 have “fruit” which is good or “fruit” which is NOT good?

Infallibility

Before reviewing and/or examining the LIFESTYLE of Pope John Paul II, it is good to refresh one’s memory about the subject of INFALLIBILITY because We have personally discovered, over the last 50-plus years, that there are many misconceptions about Infallibility, not only concerning Papal Infallibility - about which there is a great deal of outright confusion and even contradictions in the writings of many alleged “knowledgeable” Clergy and Laity, e.g. “they make the rules, so they can change the rules”, but also the Infallibility of Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church which seems to be a total mystery to many people.

Regarding the statement:

They make the rules, so they can change the rules.”

N.B.  We have recently analyzed
this statement in greater detail at:

True or False?

“The church makes the rules (laws),
so the church can change the rules (laws).”

Fully Documented!!!

This is simply NOT  true.

Why not?

This and kindred comments are all indicative of a lack of knowledge concerning what the Roman Catholic Church Teaches.

Please consider the following which proves it is a gross error for anyone to claim:

They make the rules, so they can change the rules.”

This is NOT True!!!

On the Contrary:

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory I

The  RULE  of justice and reason suggests that one who desires his own orders to be observed by his Successors should undoubtedly keep the will and ordinances of his Predecessor.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory I, Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle XII, To Montana and Thomas, ¶ 3; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI

We repeat that ALL must abide by the general RULES and DECREES of Our Predecessors.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, Bartolomeo Alberto-Mauro-Cappellari [Wednesday, February 2, 1831 - Monday, June 1, 1846], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Inter Præcipuas, Wednesday, May 8, 1844, ¶ 11; emphasis added).

Not one word from the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI about changing any RULE!

Rather, he REQUIRES that everyone OBEY:

“....the general RULES and DECREES of Our Predecessors”!
Furthermore, he is emphatic about it:
We REPEAT...”

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX

“The Fathers of the Ścumenical Council of Chalcedon declared publicly in the case of Photius, Bishop of Tyre.... that no pragmatic (that is, imperial) decree will be valid in opposition to the  RULES: let the  CANONS  of the Fathers be  BINDING

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, Giovanni M. Mastai Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Quartus Supra, On the Church in Armenia, Tuesday, January 6, 1873, ¶ 38; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“The cure is certain, if mankind returns to the Profession of Christian Doctrine and to the RULES OF  LIFE laid down by the Gospel.”

 (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Auspicato Concessum, On St. Francis of Assisi, Sunday, September 17, 1882, ¶ 6; emphasis added.)

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“We shall here have to repeat some well-known Truths, which, however, ought not to be the subjects of mere speculative knowledge, but should become RULES applicable to the practice of life.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Cum Multa, On Conditions in Spain, Friday, December 8, 1882,  ¶ 10; emphasis added.)

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“We urge and exhort you concerning the preparation and welfare of the Clergy. For the Clergy are like an army, which, as they OBEY the LAWS and perform their duties so that they may be of service to the Christian multitude under the authority of the Bishops, will bring honor and stability to public affairs in proportion to their number and discipline.... for them she founded proper seats of training and Seminaries, and laid down RULES  full  of  Wisdom, especially in the Holy Council of Trent  (Infallible Roman Catholic Council of Trent, Session XXIII [23], Held Under the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IV, Giovanni Angelo De Medici [Friday, December 25, 1559 - Thursday, December 9, 1565], Monday, July 15, 1563, Decree on Reformation, Chapter XVIII [18], Method of Establishing Seminaries for Clerics, and of Educating the Same Therein), so that this College of the ministers of God might be a perpetual Seminary (Ibid.).”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Officio Sanctissimo , On the Church in Bavaria, Thursday, December 22, 1887,  ¶  5; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“Rather, indeed, for the very reason that, under the influence of passion and political partisanship, things lawful and unlawful are to be found mingled in the same cause, it has been Our constant effort to mark off what was right from what was wrong, and to withhold Catholics from everything not sanctioned by the Christian RULES OR  MORALS.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Sæpe Nos, On Boycotting in Ireland, Sunday, June 24, 1888,  ¶  5; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“19.  There is still another and not lesser advantage which the Church earnestly seeks for her Children from the Rosary, and that is the faithful regulation of their lives and their conduct in KEEPING  THE RULES and PRECEPTS of their Holy Religion.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Magnæ Dei Matris, On the Rosary, Thursday, September 8, 1892,  ¶ 19; emphasis added.)

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

““8. ...Since the Faculties given by these Pontiffs to the Apostolic Legate had reference to England only, and to the state of religion therein, and since the RULES  OF  ACTION were laid down by them at the request of the said Legate, they could not have been mere directions for determining the necessary conditions for the Validity of Ordinations in general. They must pertain directly to providing for Holy Orders in the said kingdom....  This, besides being clear from the nature and form of the said documents, is also obvious from the fact that it would have been altogether irrelevant thus to instruct the Legate, one whose learning had been conspicuous in the Council of Trent, as to the conditions necessary for the [Valid] Administration of the Sacrament of Order.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Apostolicæ Curæ, On the Invalidity/Nullity of Anglican Orders, Friday, September 18, 1896,  ¶ 8; emphasis added).”

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“Priests will avoid..... this evil, if before and during their action they take care to CONFORM  TO  ESTABLISHED  ORDER the  RULES  OF  DISCIPLINES.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Depuis Le Jour, On the Education of the Clergy, Friday, September 8, 1899, ¶ 31; emphasis added.).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“40. Is it not because they have, with a zeal that is presumptive, SET ASIDE THOSE TRADITIONAL RULES OF DISCRETION, MODESTY AND PRUDENCE that certain Priests consider as out of date and incompatible with the present needs of the ministry those principles of discipline and conduct which they received from their masters in the senior seminary?

They are to be seen rushing, as if by instinct, into the most perilous innovations in speech, manners and associations. Several of them, alas! rashly putting themselves on the slippery incline from which they have no native power to escape, and despising the charitable warnings of their Superiors and their older and more experienced Colleagues, have ended in Apostasies which rejoice the hearts of the adversaries of the Church and brought bitterest tears into the eyes of their Bishops, their Brothers in the Priesthood and the Pious Faithful. St. Augustine tells us:

‘When a man is out of the right way, the more quickly and impetuously he advances, the more he errs.’ (Enarr. in Psalm XXXI [31], n. 4.].”
(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Depuis Le Jour, On the Education of the Clergy, Friday, September 8, 1899, ¶ 40; emphasis added.)

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII

“48. In Doctrina [In Doctrine]. In the face of the combined efforts of incredulity and Heresy to bring about the ruin of the Catholic Faith, it would be a real crime for the Clergy [Archbishops, Bishops and Priests] to remain in a state of hesitancy and inactivity.

In such an outpouring of error and conflict of opinion, the Clergy [Archbishops, Bishops and Priests] must not be faithless to their mission which is to defend Dogma - when it is assaulted, Morality - when it is mocked, and Justice - which is frequently outraged.”

“[To each Archbishop, Bishop and Priest it belongs] .... to make himself a road block to the attacks of error and the deceits of heresy; to watch the tactics of the wicked who war against the Faith....; to unmask the plots and to reveal the ambushes and traps; they must warn naive people, strengthen those who are timid, and open the eyes of the blinded.”

“Superficial erudition, or merely common knowledge, will not suffice for all of this - there is the need for the solid, profound and continuous study [by every Catholic Archbishop, Bishop, and Priest] of a massive amount of doctrinal knowledge which must be sufficient to cope with the subtlety and remarkable cunning of our modern opponents....”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Depuis Le Jour, On the Education of the Clergy, Friday, September 8, 1899, ¶ 48  In Doctrina; emphasis added.)

“3.  However, there are some things which are so important for the progress of the Catholic Religion that it does not suffice to mention them only once; they demand to be recalled and recommended often. Such is the concern for establishing Seminaries, to the condition of which the future fortunes of the Church are intimately joined. Therefore, in setting up their discipline, that which some Bishops have already performed should be your highest priority: that the Aspirants to the Priesthood should live in special houses called ‘Seminaries’ with their own RULES  AND  LAWS.

Therefore, they should be protected from dangers, separated from everything worldly, and educated according to the RULES set forth by Saint Charles Borromeo  just as We see accomplished in the Major Seminaries of Europe.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Paternæ, On the Education of Clergy, Monday, September 18, 1899,  ¶ 3; emphasis added.)

“3. ... The Catholic Priesthood

- Divine in its origin, supernatural in its essence, immutable in its character, is not an institution that can accommodate itself with ease to human systems and opinions....  To work the eternal Salvation of Souls will always be the great commandment of which it must never fall short, as to faithfully fulfil it, it must never cease to have recourse to those Supernatural aids and those Divine Rules of Thought and of Action which Jesus Christ gave His Apostles when He sent them throughout the whole world to convert the nations to the Gospel.”

(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Fin Dal Principio, On the Education of the Clergy, Monday, December 8, 1902, ¶ 3; emphasis added.).

Father Saint Vincent of Lerins

“In an Epistle sent at the time to Africa, he [Pope Saint Stephen I [Friday, May 12, 254 - Sunday, August 2, 257] laid down this RULE:

Let there be no innovation - nothing but what has been handed down.
“For that holy and prudent man well knew that true piety admits no other rule than that whatsoever things have been faithfully received from our Fathers, the same are to be faithfully consigned to posterity.”

“It is our duty to follow Religion, not to make Religion follow us.”

“The proper characteristic of Christians is not to impose their own beliefs or observances upon posterity, but to preserve and keep what we have received from those who went before us.  What then was the issue of the whole matter? What but the usual and customary one? Antiquity was retained, novelty [i.e. change] was rejected.”

“Therefore, heresy is so-called from the Greek word meaning choice, by which each chooses according to his own will what he pleases to teach or believe.”

“BUT WE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BELIEVE WHATEVER WE CHOOSE, NOR TO CHOOSE WHATEVER SOMEONE ELSE HAS BELIEVED.”

“We have the Apostles of God as authorities, who did not themselves of their own will choose what they would believe, but faithfully transmitted to the nations the teaching received from Christ.  So, even if an Angel from Heaven should preach otherwise, he shall be called anathema.”

Commentary

Nowhere do the above quotes about the  RULES indicate that the said  RULES  which are mentioned, or any other  RULES, can be changed.

On the contrary, phrases, etc., which include the word RULE, or  RULES, are to be found in the above quotes, such as:

The  RULE  of justice and reason;
ALL must abide by the general RULES and DECREES of Our predecessors;
No pragmatic decree will be valid in opposition to the  RULES;
The RULES OF  LIFE laid down by the Gospel;
Should become RULES applicable to the practice of life;
Laid down RULES  full  of  Wisdom;
Everything not sanctioned by the Christian RULES OR  MORALS;
KEEPING  THE  RULES and PRECEPTS of their Holy Religion;
RULES OF ACTION;
RULES  OF  DISCIPLINES;
TRADITIONAL  RULES;
Seminaries with their own RULES  AND  LAWS;
Educated according to the RULES set forth by Saint Charles Borromeo;
The Catholic Priesthood... must... have recourse to... Divine RULES of Thought and of Action which Jesus Christ gave His Apostles;
Laid down this RULE;
The context in which the above are to be found do NOT indicate that the said RULE(S), can be changed.

On the contrary, some phrases, etc. are very clear that the said  RULE(S), can NOT be changed, as for example:

ALL must abide by the general RULES and DECREES of Our predecessors;
No pragmatic decree will be valid in opposition to the  RULES;
The RULES OF  LIFE laid down by the Gospel;
Should become RULES applicable to the practice of life;
Laid down RULES  full  of  Wisdom;
Everything not sanctioned by the Christian RULES OR  MORALS;
KEEPING  THE  RULES and PRECEPTS of their Holy Religion;
RULES OF ACTION;
TRADITIONAL  RULES;
Seminaries with their own RULES  AND  LAWS;
Educated according to the RULES set forth by Saint Charles Borromeo;
The Catholic Priesthood... must... have recourse to... Divine RULES of Thought and of Action which Jesus Christ gave His Apostles;
In addition, there are other terms which, in their above context, likewise indicate that such things as the Canons, Order, Discipline, Conduct, Dogmas, Morality, Justice, Antiquity, etc., can NOT be changed, as for example:
Let the  CANONS  of the Fathers be BINDING;
CONFORM  TO  ESTABLISHED  ORDER;
Principles of discipline and conduct;
Defend Dogma - when it is assaulted;
Dogmas of Faith cannot be changed one jot or tittle;
Defend Morality - when it is mocked;
Defend Justice - which is frequently outraged;
Preserve and keep what we have received from those who went before us;
Antiquity was retained, novelty [i.e. change] was rejected;
Open the eyes of the blinded;
Whatsoever things have been faithfully received from our Fathers, the same are to be faithfully consigned to posterity;
It is our duty to follow Religion, not to make Religion follow us;
The Apostles of God... did not themselves... choose what they would believe, but faithfully transmitted to the nations the teaching received from Christ;
Even if an Angel from Heaven should preach otherwise, he shall be called anathema.
In some cases, changes are specifically forbidden:
Let there be no innovation - nothing but what has been handed down;
Not to impose their own beliefs or observances upon posterity;
OBEY the LAWS.
In all of the above quotes, it should be self-evident either that nothing is to be changed, most especially the RULES, or that what has been received must be kept unchanged, including the RULES.

Therefore, all of the above constitutes, both in a positive sense, and also in a negative or prohibited sense, factual proofs that what has been received, including the RULES, can NOT be changed, and sometimes there is a censure, a penalty, for making changes and for changing the RULES as, for example, citing Saint Paul, the censure of  anathema: If an Angel from Heaven should preach otherwise, he shall be called anathema.

Furthermore, this is one of the Standards, these Infallible Papal teachings on the RULES, which must also be used as one of the yardsticks by which to measure the teachings of JP-2, be it by spoken or written words or by actions of JP-2, as to whether or not JP-2 did or did NOT teach, be it by spoken or written words or by actions, the unchangeable Dogmatic Doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church!

In addition, the teachings of JP-2, be it by spoken or written words or by actions of JP-2, must also be “measured” by a very special “yardstick” by which only Popes can be “measured”, namely by that Sacred Oath taken before Almighty God, which to disobey/violate in any manner is the Mortal Sin of Perjury for EACH offense - not to mention the Censure of automatic Self-Excommunication for EACH offense - which is called the Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect.

Dear Readers,

As a common courtesy to each of you, in order to help you to refresh your memories, and so that you may continue to read without getting out of sequence and then having to find you place down here again, and to once again to see with your own eyes WHERE the Pope-Elect Solemnly Swears before God to automatically Self-Excommunicate himself for any violation of this Sacred Oath, here is the official Text as quoted above:

N.B.  This document is also available at:
The Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect Is Required of Every Pope-Elect

Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect

I VOW:

TO  CHANGE  NOTHING of the received Tradition, and nothing thereof, I have found before me guarded by my God pleasing predecessors, to encroach to alter [change], or to permit ANY  INNOVATION therein;

To the contrary: with glowing affection as Her truly faithful student and successor, to reverently safeguard the passed on good, with my whole strength and utmost effort;

To cleanse all that is in contradiction with canonical order that may surface;

(Liber Diurnus Romanorum Pontificum,  Jacques Paul Migne [b. Saint-Flour, France on Saturday, October 25, 1800 - d. Paris, France on  Sunday, October 24, 1875], Patrologiæ Latinæ Cursus Completus, published in 221 volumes [1862 - 1864], Volume 105, S. 54.)  (German translation by Dr. Werner Henzellek; Translated from German into English by Josef Eldracher from the paperback book Vatican II, Reform Council or Constitution of a New Church, by Anton Holzer, page 343; emphasis added.)

Therefore, it is a fallacy, not to mention a gross error, to even think:

They make the rules, so they can change the rules.”

This is NOT True!!!

Perhaps some Readers might still think that the above statement - They make the rules, so they can change the rules” - is True?  The cause could possibly be related to a lack of a clear understanding of Religious, or Spiritual, and/or Ecclesiastical matters?

To ratchet up the cogency factor, We will temporarily remove this examination of “the RULES” from the domain of Religious, Spiritual, and Ecclesiastical matters to the arena of sports.

For the purpose of this metaphorical scenario - which is only a metaphorical scenario - it is not real - please pretend that you are a sports afficionado.

As this metaphorical sports afficionado, you have a favorite pro football team which just happens to have a huge football stadium only five miles from your permanent residence.  On some of the walls in your residence, you have all kinds of sports memorabilia of this same very favorite professional football team of yours, most of which has been autographed by the most famous members of your favorite professional football team, in addition to your autographed sports trading cards, footballs, bobble-heads, etc., etc.

In this metaphorical sports scenario, concerning your metaphorical sports scenario favorite professional football team:

1) You have a season pass to all of the home games.
2) You have a luxury box seat in which to watch all of the football games in person which costs over $250,000 per season.
3) Your luxury box seat has all of the amenities one would expect to find in a first class restaurant.
4) You wear your pro football team's clothing items such as shirts, jackets, coats, caps, etc. depending on the weather, etc. in which to watch all of the football games in person a luxury box seat which costs you over $250,000 per season.
5) Without a doubt, you are one of the proverbial “die-hard” fans and very devoted follower, rooter, and supporter of your favorite professional football team.
One of the less conspicuous sports items in your fabulous collection is a book which contains THE RULES to be followed in playing the game of professional football.

In this metaphorical sports scenario, one Sunday afternoon (Sundays are the days on which professional football is usually played - as you already know?) as you make your entrance into the football stadium to go to your luxurious box seat, you are met by a camera crew from ZZZ Broadcasting Company from Ireland which asks for your permission to film you as you watch the upcoming professional football game which is scheduled to start in about half an hour.  This is to be a documentary to help their audience understand why American Professional Football Teams have such staunch supporters.

Not wanting to be rude, but rather choosing to be hospitable, you decide that it might be a good promotional tool for your professional football team to use in advertisements in the future to attract greater attendance at this football stadium in which your favorite professional football team plays on a regular basis during the professional football season.

Fast forward: the camera crew is now situated in your luxurious box and you sit in your usual stuffed chair as the waiter brings you your favorite drink along with your favorite meal which you usually eat while watching these games.

On the field, the action begins and play starts as usual and continues with nothing unusual happening during the entire first quarter of the game.  It is football as usual and it is being played according to THE RULES in THE RULE BOOK for Professional Football Teams.

The second quarter of play begins.  Again, nothing unusual happens - at least not until about three minutes into the second quarter when the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers blow the whistle to stop the game as they walk out onto the football field.

On the 50-yard line, the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers call all of the players and coaches from both teams to present themselves to these Rulers around the 50-year line.

Now you, the professional football sports afficionado, are wondering what is happening?  One of the crew members from the TV crew which is filming you, asks you what is happening, but you tell him you have no idea.

As you watch attentively to what is happening, you hear the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers on your stereo piped-in sound system from the football field telling all of the coaches and players from both teams that “Theyare totally bored with this game!

“They” have decided to make some changes!  “They”  tell all of the coaches and players from both teams that from now on, all of the players are to have some sticky red stuff rubbed all over their foreheads.

In addition, “They” also tell all of the coaches and players from both teams that from now on, all of the players must wear a large, white cloth which they tuck into the back of their pants.  And that, instead of making a tackle in the old-fashioned way, now the tackle is to be made by merely pulling out the large white cloth from the player with the football.

Now, as you are hearing this, you are wondering, why are they doing this?  Why are the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers changing the RULES which have been in place for however many, many, many decades of year?

So, the second quarter resumes, after all of the changes are made, with all of the players having sticky red stuff rubbed all over on their foreheads and every player wearing a large white cloth in the back of his pants.

Then comes half-time and the teams return to their respective dressing rooms.

When half-time is over, the teams return to the playing field.

The third quarter of play begins.  But, about two minutes into the third quarter, the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers blow their whistles again and once again walk out onto the football field at the 50-yard line and summon all of the coaches and players to come to where they are.

Once again, with your stereo system, you can hear what the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers are telling all of the coaches and players.

This time  the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers tell all of the coaches and players that “They” are changing the RULES again!

The NEW RULES include such things as all of the Cheerleaders bringing large, metal bowls of lighted charcoal, with lots of incense on the top of the charcoal, onto the football field and walking around each of the players of their own football team while the football players stand still in their places for this “purification ceremony”.

In addition, “They” also tell all of the coaches and players from both teams that from now on, all of the players must no longer wear the large, white cloths which they had told them to wear in the second quarter.  Instead, all of the players must replace these large, white cloths in the back of their pants with a dozen large sunflowers.  And that, instead of making a tackle by pulling out the white cloth, the NEW changes require that the way to make a tackle is to pull out one of the large sunflowers from the player with the football.

Once again, as you are hearing this, you are wondering, why are they doing this?  Why are the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers changing the rules that they just changed in the previous quarter?  Not only that, but why can’t the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers RESTORE the ORIGINAL RULES that were used for many, many, many decades of years?

The TV crew notices that you are becoming upset and agitated, especially when you hear the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers rule that the NEW rule for making a “touchdown” will be with a round ball - a basketball - and the old-fashioned football is now replaced with a basketball!!!  In other words, the players can no longer use a football, the NEW RULE is they must use a basketball or any touchdown using a football will be invalid and not count as a score!

By this time, you are now out of your comfy stuffed chair walking back and forth in front of the windows which give you a great view of the playing field.

The third quarter resumes, but not until after all of the NEW MODERN RULES CHANGES  have replaced the TRADITIONAL football, etc., etc.

The third quarter is over and the fourth quarter begins.

About one minute after the fourth quarter begins, the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers blow their whistles again and once again walk onto the playing field at the 50-yard line and call over all of the coaches and players to where they are standing.

Now, as you are hearing this, you are at the point where you are confused and no longer know what to think.  You are hoping and praying that they will restore the TRADITIONAL RULES of the game, and stop making such idiotic changes.

As you pace back and forth, the TV Crew hears you talking to yourself about how “They” need to stop changing the changes of the changes of the changes of the changes and to restore the TRADITIONAL RULES of the game.

But your heart sinks to the floor as you hear the latest NEW RULES:

All of the Cheerleaders are to come onto the playing field and all of the players are to remain on the playing field.  the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers have now changed the changes of the changes of the changes of the changes and the NEW RULES, which everyone must OBEY are;

All of the players must remove all of their protective gear, including their helmets and padding, shoes, and all of their clothes.  All of the Cheerleaders are also to remove all of their clothes.  The NEW RULES are that all of the players and all of the Cheerleaders must be totally NUDE!

In addition, the NEW RULES require that all of the totally NUDE players and Cheerleaders form a straight line and walk up to one of the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Rulers to have their respective “Ruler” put a donut in their hand which they can then throw on the ground or have their mascots - both dogs - eat, or throw into the stands, or maybe even eat.

After they somehow get rid of the donut,  their respective “Ruler” gives them a large pitcher of wine from which they are required to drink at least a little of the wine - or as much wine as they can drink in about 5 seconds.

Then the “Ruler” gives everyone in his line of NUDE football players and NUDE Cheerleaders a bible.

Other “Rulers” then lead each of them to various places on the playing field.  Each of the NUDE football players and the NUDE Cheerleaders must then open their bibles and begin reading anything in their respective bibles out loud - very loud - so that eventually, after all of the NUDE football players and Cheerleaders are reading from their bibles, all that is heard is lots of noise because everyone is reading something different and having to read it very, very loud.

Now you are in a state of shock!  What is going on here?  Have  the They make the rules, so they can change the rulesRulers gone insane?  Are they mad?  Are they under the influence of dope or whatever?

In other words, exactly what does all of this nonsense have to do with the TRADITIONAL RULES of any football game?

Dear Readers,

The above absurd and idiotic metaphorical scenario is actually something quite similar to what JP-2,  the They make the rules, so they can change the rules Ruler did over time who kept changing the RULES so that he ended up changing the changes of the changes of the changes of the changes of the changes of the changes because the Modernist Heretic, JP-2, believed in CHANGING THE TRADITIONAL RULES BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN EVOLUTION - which is perpetual CHANGES OF THE CHANGES OF THE CHANGES!!!!

For example, remember the sticky red stuff rubbed all over their foreheads in the above metaphorical scenario?  The photo below shows something similar happened when JP-2 instituted the Pagan Tilak NOR mass - some special Pagan  red stuff  was rubbed on his forehead:

JP-2 Instituting the Pagan Tilak NOR mass

It should be self-evident to everyone that JP-2 broke his Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect and thereby automatically Excommunicated himself!

Another example:  Remember the Cheerleaders bringing large, metal bowls of lighted charcoal, with lots of incense on the top of the charcoal, onto the football field and walking around each of the players of their own football team in the above metaphorical scenario as part of a “purification ceremony”?

The photo below shows something similar actually happened when JP-2 instituted the Pagan Aztec NOR mass - a special Pagan Aztec EXORCISM ceremony was performed by an Aztec Priestess on JP-2 in Mexico, which was carried LIVE ON TV, being broadcast in the U.S.A., e.g. on Los Angeles TV Stations, during which the TV Anchors, reading from a prepared document, stated VERY CLEARLY, that what everyone was watching at that point in time was actually an Aztec rite of EXORCISM being performed on the Pope!:

This Pagan Aztec EXORCISM ceremony was performed
by an Aztec Priestess on JP-2 in Mexico inside the mess hall
a.k.a. the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe!

JP-2 Instituting the Pagan Aztec NOR mass
Complete with a Pagan Aztec Exorcism of Himself!

It should be self-evident to everyone that JP-2 broke his Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect and thereby automatically Excommunicated himself!

Another example:  Remember that the NEW RULES for the players and the Cheerleaders was that all of them must be totally NUDE, and that a donut would be put in their hand which they can then throw on the ground or have their mascots - both dogs - eat, or throw into the stands, or maybe even eat, and the large pitcher of wine from which they are required to drink, and how the NUDE football players and the NUDE Cheerleaders must then open their bibles and begin reading anything in their respective bibles out loud, in the above metaphorical scenario???!!!

The photo below shows something similar happened when JP-2 instituted the Pagan NUDE NOR mass - a.k.a. the Abomination of Desolation and how none of the spineless Clergy, despite the disgusted look on some of their faces, did anything to stop this Satanic blasphemy:

JP-2 Instituting the Pagan NUDE NOR mass
The Abomination of Desolation

It should be self-evident to everyone that JP-2 broke his Coronation Oath of the Pope-Elect and thereby automatically Excommunicated himself!

Does anyone have anymore questions about the rules???!!!

Once again, it is a fallacy, not to mention a gross error, to even think:

They make the rules, so they can change the rules.”

This is NOT True!!!

The above facts have totally refuted this falsehood!

Papal Infallibility

Dear Readers,

Those of you who are familiar with Church History are probably aware of the fact that it was the Roman Catholic Twentieth Ścumenical Council, The First Vatican Council, a.k.a. Vatican I [Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.] which taught the Roman Catholic dogma of Papal Infallibility.

But because most Catholics have never had an opportunity to read much, if anything, on Church History, and also as a courtesy to those of you who are familiar with what was the Roman Catholic Council Vatican I [1869 - 1870] taught the Roman Catholic dogma of Papal Infallibility, but who may have forgotten the exact text of the dogma of Papal Infallibility, here are the basic teachings of, and the very, very important context concerning, Papal Infallibility by the Roman Catholic Twentieth Ścumenical Council, The First Vatican Council [Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.].

Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1
[Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.]
Roman Catholic infallible Papal teaching is based primarily upon the Roman Catholic Vatican Council I which taught that all Roman Catholic Popes are Infallible in their Ordinary Magisterium.  Now the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope, Saint Celestine I was an Infallible Roman Catholic Pope.  Therefore, Infallible Roman Catholic Pope, Saint Celestine I was Infallible in the exercise of his Ordinary Papal Magisterium.

ALL Valid Roman Catholic Popes Have Been Infallible
According to the Teachings of the Roman Catholic Church!

Roman Catholic Bishop Dupanloup
[b. at Saint-Félix, in Haute-Savoie, France on Sunday, January 3, 1802 -
d. at the château of La Combe-de-Lancey, France on Friday, October 11, 1878]

A Council Father at the Infallible
Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1
[Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.]

Dear Readers,

This basic Truth - that all valid Roman Catholic Popes are Infallible  - per the dogma enunciated by a Vatican 1 Council Father, Bishop Félix Antoine Philibert Dupanloup [b. at Saint-Félix, in Haute-Savoie, France on Sunday, January 3, 1802 - d. at the château of La Combe-de-Lancey, France on Friday, October 11, 1878], in his famous Observations on the Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1.

In it he says in part that:

“If we declare Pius IX
[Giovanni M. Mastai Ferretti, Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878 - who was the Pope at the time of the Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1]
infallible, we are bound, as a natural and necessary inference, to hold that all of his Papal predecessors are also infallible(Op. Cit.).
So this is why, among all previous valid Infallible Roman Catholic Popes, the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope, Saint  Celestine I, was also Infallible!

Every Valid Roman Catholic Pope
IS Infallible in his Ordinary Magisterium per Vatican 1

Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1
[Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.]
Infallibly Decreed the Roman Catholic Pope
IS Infallible in his Ordinary Magisterium!

Ordinary Papal Magisterium:  “2. Wherefore we teach and declare that, by divine ordinance, the Roman church [i.e. in the person of the Pope - the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman Pontiff] possesses a pre-eminence of ordinary power [i.e. Ordinary Jurisdiction] over every other church, and that THIS jurisdictional power of the Roman pontiff [i.e. the Roman Catholic Pope] is both episcopal and immediate.  Both clergy and faithful, of whatever rite and dignity, both singly and collectively, are bound to submit to this power by the duty of hierarchical subordination and true obedience, and this not only in matters concerning faith and morals, but also in those which regard the discipline and government of the church throughout the world.”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1 [Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.], Session 4, Monday, July 18, 1870, First Dogmatic Constitution on the Church of Christ, Chapter 3. On the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman Pontiff, ¶ 2).

Clarifications:  Please note that this Chapter 3 concerns “the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman Pontiff”, NOT the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman church!!

Therefore, when one reads that “the Roman church possesses a pre-eminence of ordinary power over every other church”, one finds, immediately after this, “that THIS jurisdictional power of the Roman pontiff is both episcopal and immediate.”  But to what exactly does the “THIS” in “THIS jurisdictional power of the Roman pontiff” refer?

“This” logically refers to something already stated.  What is it that was already stated?  “... the Roman church possesses a pre-eminence of ordinary power”.

What this document is really saying is that “THIS jurisdictional power of the Roman pontiff” is really the “ordinary power” possessed by “the Roman church”.

When the document says “the Roman church possesses a pre-eminence of ordinary power” and then explains that this “ordinary power” is “jurisdictional power of the Roman pontiff”, this is just juridical double-talk which simply means that this document is really saying in effect that it is “the Roman pontiff” who is the one who “possesses a pre-eminence of ordinary power”.

The importance of this “ordinary power” is that this refers to the “Ordinary Magisterium” of the Office of the Papacy.  The “ordinary power” of the “Ordinary Magisterium” simply means that this refers to the “ordinary” activities and acts of the Pope as the Pope which includes everything except the personal activities of the Pope, e.g. taking a shower, shaving, listening to the radio, watching TV, eating, etc.

That this is the correct meaning of this document is verified by what the same sources have declared in the following document:

“9. So, then, if anyone says that the Roman pontiff has merely an office of supervision and guidance, and not the full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the whole church, and this not only in matters of faith and morals, but also in those which concern the discipline and government of the church dispersed throughout the whole world; or that he has only the principal part, but not the absolute fullness, of this supreme power; or that this power of his is not ordinary and immediate both over all and each of the churches and over all and each of the pastors and faithful: let him be anathema.”  (Synod Vatican 1 [Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.], Session 4, Monday, July 18, 1870, First Dogmatic Constitution on the Church of Christ, Chapter 3. On the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman pontiff, ¶ 9).

Here the document mentions only “the Roman pontiff” who has “full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the whole church”.  This document repeats the same terminology found in Chapter 3. On the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman Pontiff, ¶ 2, here in Chapter 3. On the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman pontiff, ¶ 9, namely that this “full and supreme power of jurisdiction” applies “not only in matters concerning faith and morals, but also in those which regard the discipline and government of the church”.

In Anglo-Saxon English this means the Pope has an immediate ordinary universal Magisterium because his immediate ordinary universal power is the full and supreme power of jurisdiction, not only in regard to “matters of faith and morals”, but even to those matters “which concern the discipline and government of the church”.

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope, Saint Celestine I
[Saturday, September 10, 422  - Tuesday, July 27, 432]
The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope, Saint Celestine I was using his infallible Immediate Ordinary Universal Magisterium because his Immediate Ordinary Universal Power is the Full and Supreme Power of Jurisdiction, a Jurisdiction which automatically includes his infallibility, otherwise his infallibility would not contain the Full and Supreme Power of Jurisdiction.

[Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.]

N.B.  Session 4, Chapter 3, On the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman Pontiff, ¶ 2 and ¶ 9 both imply Papal infallibility without explicitly using the word “infallibility” because such deliberate double-talk was the only way those who were in favor of Papal Infallibility, not only for when the Pope speaks ex cathedra (from the chair), which is found in Session 4, Monday, July 18, 1870, First Dogmatic Constitution on the Church of Christ, Chapter 4. On the infallible teaching authority of the Roman pontiff [i.e. the Pope], ¶ 9, but also who were in favor of Papal Infallibility when the Pope uses his Ordinary Magisterium, could get the necessary votes from reluctant Council Fathers with such labored, and somewhat deliberately misleading, terminology, and thus resorted to these deceptive, double-talk, tactics with their emphasis on the infallible Pope's Ordinary Magisterium which Ordinary Magisterium would be exercised under Papal infallibility!

Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1
[Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.]
The bottom line in this confusion is simply this:  crafty Council Fathers, who wanted the Office of the Papacy, which is concomitant in the person of the Pope who holds the Office of the Papacy, declared to be infallible, even in regard to the Ordinary Magisterium of the Pope, deliberately worded their document in such a way that Papal infallibility itself was automatically exercised every time the Pope exercised his Ordinary Magisterium!

In other words, both Infallible Dogmatic Decrees depended on the other, just as human beings have two legs and two feet with which to walk, so also, regarding the Pope and the Papacy, the "left leg of Papal Infallibility" can not function without the "right leg of the Ordinary Magisterium of the Pope" - both "legs" had to function together, not separately.

Therefore, the  "right leg of the Ordinary Magisterium of the Pope" requires the "left leg of Papal Infallibility" to function correctly!  Neither "leg" can function correctly on its own!

Dear Readers,

Infallible Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1
[Wednesday, December 8, 1869 A.D. - Monday, July 18, 1870 A.D.]

Summary of Papal Infallibility Infallibly Decreed by The Roman Catholic Council Vatican 1
Papal Infallibility is based upon the Papal Ordinary Magisterium and the Papal Ordinary Magisterium is based upon Papal Infallibility - neither one is able to exist, or even to function, without the other one!

Ex Cathedra is only the SOLEMN  PART of the Papal Ordinary Magisterium which is rarely used because it is not really needed or necessary because the Papal Ordinary Magisterium per se provides all that is necessary for Papal Infallibility to function without any limitations.

These unlimited functions of Papal Infallibility are what were provided by Session 4, Chapter 3, On the Power and Character of the Primacy of the Roman Pontiff, in ¶ 2 and ¶ 9!

All valid and lawful/licit Ścumenical/General Councils
of the Catholic Church are both Infallible
and Autocephalous (Independent)  in and of themselves.

All valid and lawful/licit Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church are both Infallible and Autocephalous (Independent)  in and of themselves. Why?  Because the Catholic Church was empowered by her Divine Founder, Jesus Christ, God the Son, with Infallible doctrinal authority.

Argumentum a Fortiori
The First Major Reason  - The First Major Proof

The first proof is how Christ promised to be present when even two or three of His Disciples gathered together in His name:

“For where there are two or three gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).
This is what is known as an argumentum a fortiori - an argument from the stronger [reason]; or, an argument with even greater certainty.

For example, when it is evident that a newborn infant is breathing, then one can, with equal or greater certainty, argue that the newborn infant child is alive.  It is something which should be self-evident to most people and therefore no proof is needed for the statement because proof is not necessary since the Truth of the matter is so obvious.

Therefore, in this case, it can be argued, in virtue of the principle argumentum a fortiori, that both God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Ghost, will be present efficaciously in an authoritarian gathering of His official authorized teachers (Bishops - not Priests - are the official teachers in the Catholic Church) and that God the Holy Ghost, the Paraclete, Whom Christ promised, will be present, so that whatever an Ścumenical - General - Council, in and of itself, doctrinally defines as Dogmatic Truth, may be prefaced with the Apostolic formulæ:

1) Saint Peter:  “It is good for us to be here” (Matthew 17:4; Mark 9:4; Luke 9:33)
2) Saint Paul:  “It hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us” (Acts 15:28).
Such an obvious and self-evident Truth is the first major reason, the first major proof, why Ścumenical - General- Councils are Infallible in and of themselves concerning their Conciliar Power and Authority.

The Second Major Reason  - The Second Major Proof

Such an obvious and self-evident Truth is also found in the second major reason, the second major proof, which concerns The First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa - Council of Nicæa I [Saturday, June 20, 325 A.D. - Tuesday, August 25, 325 A.D.], which was summoned/convoked by the Roman Emperor Constantine I, a.k.a. Constantine the Great, a.k.a. C. Flavius Valerius Constantinus [b. at Naissus, modern day Nisch in Servia sometime between 274 A.D. - 288 A.D. - d. at the Villa Aquilo in May, 337 A.D.]; Roman Emperor [proclaimed Caesar by his troops on Wednesday, July 25, 306 A.D. -  May, 337 A.D.] and which Constantine I formally opened in person on Saturday, June 20, 325 A.D.

The Father of Catholic Orthodoxy, the great champion of the Catholic Faith, in total agreement and harmony with 90 other Bishops of the Catholic Church, Patriarch Saint Athanasius [b. at Alexandria, Egypt 296 A.D. - d. peacefully in his own bed, surrounded by his Clergy and Faithful at Alexandria, Egypt on Wednesday, May 2, 373A.D.], Patriarch of Alexandria, Egypt, a Father of the Catholic Church, a Doctor of the Church, and the Father of Orthodoxy in the Catholic Church, sent a Letter “Ad Afros Epistola Synodica”, To the Bishops of Africa, in which Patriarch Saint Athanasius, with the 90 other Bishops, insisted on their Dogmatic Doctrinal Definitions being accepted under pain of  anathema:

“9. The honest repudiation of Arianism involves the acceptance of the Nicene test.”

“This then the Fathers [of The First Council of Nicæa - Council of Nicæa I] perceived when they wrote that the Son was co-essential with the Father, and anathematized those who say that the Son is of a different Subsistence.....  For this is why the Fathers [of The First Council of Nicæa - Council of Nicæa I], having said that the Son was co-essential, straight way added, ‘but those who say that He is a creature, of made, or of nothing, or that there was once a time when He was not’, the Catholic Church anathematizes:     namely in order that by this means they might make it known that these things are meant by the word ‘co-essential’. And the meaning ‘Co-essential’ is known from the Son not being a Creature or a thing made” (“Ad Afros Epistola Synodica”, written about 369 A.D., To the Bishops of Africa, A Letter of Ninety Bishops of Egypt and Libya, Including [Saint] Athanasius, ¶ 9; emphasis added).

In addition to the censure of anathema, Patriarch Saint Athanasius, with the 90 other Bishops, also said that “the Word of the Lord’, pronounced by the Ścumenical Synod [Council] of Nicæa, ‘endureth for ever’ (1 Peter 1:25).”

Here is the paragraph in which the above quote is found:

“2. The Synod [Council] of Nicæa Contrasted with the Local Synods Held Since.”

“For this was why an ecumenical synod has been held at Nicæa, 318 bishops assembling to discuss the faith on account of the Arian heresy, namely, in order that local Synods should no more be held on the subject of the Faith, but that, even if held, they should not hold good. For what does that Council [The First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa - Council of Nicæa I] lack, that any one should seek to innovate? It is full of piety, Beloved; and has filled the whole world with it. Indians have acknowledged it, and all Christians of other barbarous nations. Vain then is the labor of those who have often made attempts against it [i.e. to change it].”

“For already the men to whom we refer have held ten or more synods, changing their ground [teaching] at each, and while taking away some things from earlier decisions, in later ones make changes and additions. And so far they have gained nothing by writing, erasing, and using force, not knowing that ‘every plant which My Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up’ (Matthew 15:13).”

“‘But the Word of the Lord’, pronounced by the Ścumenical Synod [Council] of Nicæa, ‘endureth for ever’ (1 Peter 1:25).”

“For if one compare number with number, these who met at Nicæa are more than those at local synods, inasmuch as the whole is greater than the part. But if a man wishes to discern the reason of the Synod [Council] at Nicæa, and that of the large number subsequently held by these men, he will find that while there was a reasonable cause for the former [i.e. The First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa], the others were got together by force, by reason of hatred and contention. For the former council [The First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa] was summoned because of the Arian heresy, and because of Easter [i.e. the date on which to celebrate the Feast of Easter], in that they of Syria, Cilicia and Mesopotamia differed from us, and kept the Feast [of Easter] at the same season as the Jews. But thanks to the Lord, harmony has resulted not only as to the Faith [i.e. Arianism was condemned as a heresy], but also as to the Sacred Feast [i.e. the  the date on which to celebrate the Feast of Easter]. And that was the reason of the Synod [Council] at Nicæa. But the subsequent ones were without number, all however planned in opposition to the Ścumenical [Council of Nicæa]” (“Ad Afros Epistola Synodica”, written about 369 A.D., To the Bishops of Africa, A Letter of Ninety Bishops of Egypt and Libya, Including [Saint] Athanasius, ¶ 2; emphasis added).

The Third Major Reason  - The Third Major Proof

Such an obvious and self-evident Truth is also found in the third major reason, the third major proof, which presents itself in a rather surprising place - the Papacy itself!

First Example

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great [Saturday, September 29, 440 - Thursday, November 10, 461] states that those who defy the Dogmatic Decrees of The First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa [Saturday, June 20, 325 A.D. - Tuesday, August 25, 325 A.D.] and that those who defy the Dogmatic Decrees of The Fourth Ścumenical Council, the First Council of Chalcedon [Sunday, October 8, 451 A.D. -  Wednesday, November 1, 451 A.D.], could not be numbered among Catholics.  Furthermore, that the Dogmatic Decrees of the First Council of Chalcedon were framed “instruente Spiritu Sancto” - under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great [Saturday, September 29, 440 - Thursday, November 10, 461], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 78 To Marcian Augustus).

Second Example

Axiom:  Universæ Fraternitatis Irretractabili Firmavit Assensu

We go not away in aught from those rules of Faith which the Godhead of the Holy Ghost brought forward at the Council of Chalcedon.” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great [Saturday, September 29, 440 - Thursday, November 10, 461], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 120, To Theodoret, Bishop of Cyrus, on Perseverance in the Faith, ¶ 4; emphasis added).

“.... to arrive with certainty at the Truth by making use of the knowledge of many.  Consequently the same things, which have come into our mind by the Divine inspiration, have received the assent and confirmation of a large number of the brethren” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great [Saturday, September 29, 440 - Thursday, November 10, 461], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 166, To Neo, Bishop of Ravenna; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory I says the same thing, with slightly different words, where he teaches that First Five Ścumenical/General Council Councils of the Catholic Church were “constituted by Universal Consent”:

“Those [Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church] whom they venerate, I embrace; since, they [the Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church] having been constituted by Universal Consent....” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 25 To John, Bishop [Patriarch] of Constantinople, and the Other Patriarchs - Eulogius of Alexandria, Gregory of Antioch, John of Jerusalem, and Anastasias, Ex-Patriarch of Antioch, ¶ 10; emphasis added).

The axiom universæ fraternitatis irretractabili firmavit assensu” - the firm, irrevocable - unchangeable assent to Definitive Dogmatic Conciliar Doctrinal Truths by the Universal Fraternity - Brotherhood - the Bishops of the Catholic Church - has been imputed to the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great (“The Catholic Encyclopedia”, Volume VII, p. 796, Column # 1-a, “Infallibility”, III. Organs of Infallibility, A. Ecumenical Councils: “St. Leo the Great proves the unchangeable character of definitive conciliar teaching on the ground that God has irrevocably confirmed its Truth ‘universæ fraternitatis irretractabili firmavit assensu’ (Ep. 120, 1, in P. L. LIV., 1047).”

The above article in “The Catholic Encyclopedia” indicates that the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great teaches that the unchangeable character of Definitive Dogmatic Conciliar Doctrinal Teachings of the unchangeable Truth are proven by the fact that God has irrevocably confirmed their Dogmatic Doctrinal Truths through the consent/assent of the Universal Fraternity - Brotherhood of Bishops, i.e. by the firm assent/acceptance of said Truths by the Universal Fraternity of the Universal Communio - College of Catholic Bishops.

Saint Robert Bellarmine, S.J. has attempted to clarify the axiom “universæ fraternitatis irretractabili firmavit assensu” where he writes in part that “the whole [Universal Catholic] Church, without a doubt, can not err” (Saint Robert Cardinal Bellarmine, S.J. [b. Montepulciano, Italy, on Sunday, October 4, 1542 A.D. - d. Rome, Italy, on Friday, September 17, 1621 A.D.], Doctor of the Church, “Disputationum De Controversiis Christianae Fidei”, Tomus Primus [1588 A.D.], Liber Secundus, De Conciliorum Auctoritate. Caput Primum, Caput XI, Concilia Generalia, De Quarto,  pp. 117-118.  “Disputations Concerning Controversies about the Christian Faith”, First Tome, Second Book, On the Authority of a [Ścumenical/General] Council, First Part, Chapter 11, Of the Fourth Consideration, pages 117 - 118).

By this is interpreted a complete/total/100% unanimity of all of the valid and lawful/licit Catholic Bishops of the Catholic Church without any exceptions.

Third Example

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory I honored the first five Infallible Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church as much as the four Gospels:

“Besides, since with the heart man believeth unto justice, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, I confess that I receive and revere, as the four books of the Gospel so also the Four Councils:  to wit, the Nicene, in which the perverse doctrine of Arius is overthrown; the Constantinopolitan also, in which the error of Eunomius and Macedonius is refuted; further, the first Ephesine, in which the impiety of Nestorius is condemned; and the Chalcedonian, in which the pravity of Eutyches and Dioscorus is reprobated.”

“These I embrace with full devotion, and adhere to with most entire approval; since on them, as  on a four-square stone, rises the structure of the holy faith; and whosoever, of whatever life and behavior he may be, holds not fast to their solidity, even though he is seen to be a stone, yet he lies outside the building.  The Fifth Council also I equally venerate” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 25 To John, Bishop [Patriarch] of Constantinople, and the Other Patriarchs - Eulogius of Alexandria, Gregory of Antioch, John of Jerusalem, and Anastasias, Ex-Patriarch of Antioch, ¶ 10).

Fourth Example

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great repudiated everyone whom the First Five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church repudiated:

“But all persons whom the aforesaid venerable Councils [of the Catholic Church] repudiate, I repudiate” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 25 To John, Bishop [Patriarch] of Constantinople, and the Other Patriarchs - Eulogius of Alexandria, Gregory of Antioch, John of Jerusalem, and Anastasias, Ex-Patriarch of Antioch, ¶ 10).

Fifth Example

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great teaches that the First Five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church were “constituted by universal consent”:

“Those [aforesaid venerable Councils] whom they venerate, I embrace; since, they [the aforesaid venerable Councils] having been constituted by universal consent, he overthrows not them but himself - whosoever presumes either to loose those whom they bind, or to bind those whom they loose” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 25 To John, Bishop [Patriarch] of Constantinople, and the Other Patriarchs - Eulogius of Alexandria, Gregory of Antioch, John of Jerusalem, and Anastasias, Ex-Patriarch of Antioch, ¶ 10).

Sixth Example

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great anathematized everyone who does not accept the first five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church:

“Whosoever, therefore, thinks otherwise, let him be anathema.  But whosoever holds the Faith of the aforesaid Synods [i.e. the First Five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church], peace be to him from God the Father, through Jesus Christ His Son, Who lives and reigns consubstantially God with Him in the Unity of the Holy Spirit for ever and ever.  Amen” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 25 To John, Bishop [Patriarch] of Constantinople, and the Other Patriarchs - Eulogius of Alexandria, Gregory of Antioch, John of Jerusalem, and Anastasias, Ex-Patriarch of Antioch, ¶ 10).

Seventh Example

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great anathematized everyone who does not accept the First Five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church:  This is also what is known as an argumentum a fortiori - an argument from the stronger [reason]; or, an argument with even greater certainty.  Everyone who does not accept the First Five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church, are automatically anathematized by Pope Gregory I, means that everyone who does not accept all of the Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church, are automatically anathematized by the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory I.

The Fourth Major Reason  - The Fourth Major Proof

The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople, followed the precedents set by the First Four Ścumenical Councils as the correct standard or rule to follow, irrespective of the Papacy:

01 - First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa [Saturday, June 20, 325 A.D. - Tuesday, August 25, 325 A.D.].

02 - Second Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Constantinople [May, 381 A.D. - Thursday, July 30, 381 A.D.].

03 - Third Ścumenical Council, The First Council Of Ephesus [Sunday, June 22, 431 A.D. - Thursday, July 31, 431 A.D.].

04 - Fourth Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Chalcedon [Sunday, October 8, 451 A.D. - Wednesday, November 1, 451 A.D.].

Just as the previous 4 Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church had done, so also  The Fifth Ścumenical Council of the Catholic Church, The Second Council of Constantinople, issued their own Infallible Dogmatic Doctrines which consisted of 14 Canons plus 15 more concerning Origen.

Also, The Second Council of Constantinople, clearly stated that they were accepting and following what the First Four Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church had done.

First Example

The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.] of the Catholic Church, anathematized and condemned those who defied the Dogmatic Decrees of the First Four Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church, which “we follow and accept through all things and in all things”:

“212.   We confess that (we) hold and declare the faith given from the beginning by the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ to the Holy Apostles, and preached by them in the whole world; which the sacred Fathers both confessed and explained, and handed down to the holy churches, and especially [those Fathers] who assembled in the four sacred Synods, whom we follow and accept through all things and in all things . . . judging as at odds with piety all things, indeed, which are not in accord with what has been defined as right faith by the same four holy Councils, we condemn and anathematize them” (Father Heinrich Joseph Dominicus Denzinger [b. at Liège, Belgium on Sunday, October 10, 1819 A.D. - d. at Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany on Tuesday, June 19, 1883 A.D.], “Enchiridion Symbolorum et Definitionum”, # 212, The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.] of the Catholic Church; concerning the Three Chapters; emphasis added).

Another Source Writes in a Similar Way:

“We further declare that we hold fast to the [Dogmatic] Decrees of the Four Councils, and in every way follow the Holy Fathers, Athanasius, Hilary, Basil, Gregory the Theologian, Gregory of Nyssa, Ambrose, Theophilus, John (Chrysostom) of Constantinople, Cyril, Augustine, Proclus, Leo and their writings on the True Faith” (Labbe and Cossart, “Concilia,”; The Infallible Fifth Ścumenical Council, the Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.], Emperor: Justinian I; Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Vigilius I [Friday, March 29, 537 -  Saturday, June 7, 555], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated the Infallible “Extracts from the Acts”, Session I, Tome V, Column 419; emphasis added).

Second Example

The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.] of the Catholic Church, anathematized and condemned all of those who had been condemned or anathematized by the Catholic Church and also by the First Four Councils:

“We confessed that we hold, preserve, and declare to the Holy Churches that Confession of Faith which the 318 Holy Fathers more at length set forth, who were gathered together at Nice [Nicæa], who handed down the holy mathema or Creed. Moreover, the 150 gathered together at Constantinople set forth our Faith, who followed that Same Confession of Faith and explained it. And the Consent of the 200 Holy Fathers gathered for the same Faith in the First Council of Ephesus. And what things were defined by the 630 gathered at Chalcedon for the one and the same Faith, which they both followed and taught. And all those who from time to time have been condemned or anathematized by the Catholic Church, and by the aforesaid Four Councils, we confessed that we hold them condemned and anathematized” (Labbe and Cossart, “Concilia,”; The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D.

Third Example

The Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Vigilius I [Friday, March 29, 537 -  Saturday, June 7, 555] admitted that he was in error about “the matter of the Three Chapters” after a period of six months and finally agreed with the Infallible Fifth Ścumenical Council of the Catholic Church, The Second Council of Constantinople.  As a result, he annulled his writings which defended “the Three Chapters”:

“At last Pope Vigilius resigned himself to the advice of the Council [The Second Council of Constantinople], and six months afterwards wrote a letter to the Patriarch Eutychius, wherein he confesses that he has been wanting in Charity in dividing from his brethren. He adds, that one ought not to be ashamed to retract, when one recognizes the Truth, and brings forward the example of Saint Augustine. He says, that, after having better examined the matter of the Three Chapters, he finds them worthy of condemnation. We recognize for Our brethren and colleagues all those who have condemned them, and annul by this writing all that has been done by Us or by others for the defense of the Three Chapters” (Abbot Claude Fleury [b. at Paris, France on Thursday, December 6, 1640 A.D. - d. at Paris, France on Wednesday, July 14, 1723. A.D.], “Histoire Ecclesiastique”, Liv. 33, 52.)

The Fifth Major Reason  - The Fifth Major Proof

The Lateran Council of 649 A.D. anathematized those who deviate from the Tradition of the Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of God and from the Holy Fathers and the Five venerable Universal Councils:

“270 Canon 17. If anyone in word and mind does not properly and truly confess according to the Holy Fathers all, even to the last portion, that has been handed down and preached in the Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of God, and likewise by the Holy Fathers and the Five venerable Universal Councils, let him be condemned” (Father Heinrich Joseph Dominicus Denzinger [b. at Liège, Belgium on Sunday, October 10, 1819 A.D. - d. at Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany on Tuesday, June 19, 1883 A.D.], “Enchiridion Symbolorum et Definitionum”, # 270, The Lateran Council [649 A.D.] of the Catholic Church, Canon 17; emphasis added).

Recapitulation

Dear Readers,

The above reasons - proofs should make it self-evident that all valid and lawful/licit Ścumenical - General Councils of the Catholic Church are both Infallible and Autocephalous (Independent)  in and of themselves.

Sacred Scripture Tells You This:

Because, under “normal circumstances”, the following can become true for Catholics under certain circumstances, how much more so does the following apply when God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Ghost, become present efficaciously in an authoritarian gathering of His official authorized teachers (Bishops are the official teachers in the Catholic Church), not only during local Synods, but most especially during valid and lawful/licit Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church.

1) Jesus Christ:  “For where there are two or three gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).

2)  Jesus Christ:  The Spirit breatheth where He will; and thou hearest His voice, but thou knowest not whence He cometh, and whither He goeth” (John 3:8).

3) Saint Peter:  “It is good for us to be here” (Matthew 17:4; Mark 9:4; Luke 9:33)

4) Saint Paul:  “It hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us” (Acts 15:28).

The Councils Themselves Tell You this:

1) By issuing their own Dogmatic Canons and Decrees under the censure of anathema for non-compliance.

For the record, “anathema” means:

“ANATHEMA then appears as the more solemn form of pronouncing or declaring excommunication” (Rev. P. Chas. Augustine, O.S.B., D.D., “A Commentary on the New Code of Canon Law”, Volume 8, Canons 2255 & 2256, p. 170).

“ANATHEMA:  A thing or person struck by God’s malediction and intended for ruin.  Cf. I Cor. 12:13; Rom. 9:3; Gal. l:8-9.  Anathema, in actual Church discipline, is the term used for IPSO FACTO [i.e. automatic] excommunication incurred by those denying a solemnly defined Truth, as is concluded principally from the dogmatic canons of the [Roman Catholic] Council of Trent and the Vatican Council [i.e. Vatican 1]” (Parente, Piolanti, Garofalo, “Dictionary of Dogmatic Theology”, “Anathema”.)

2) By following the precedents of previous Infallible Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church, most especially the First Five Infallible Ścumenical Councils to which some subsequent Infallible Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church, as well as some local Councils and Synods, refer:

05 - Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.].

Example # 1

The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.] of the Catholic Church, anathematized and condemned those who defied the Dogmatic Decrees of the First Four Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church, which “we follow and accept through all things and in all things” (Father Heinrich Joseph Dominicus Denzinger [b. at Liège, Belgium on Sunday, October 10, 1819 A.D. - d. at Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany on Tuesday, June 19, 1883 A.D.], “Enchiridion Symbolorum et Definitionum”, # 212, The Fifth Ścumenical Council, The Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.] of the Catholic Church; concerning the Three Chapters; emphasis added).

Example # 2

“We further declare that we hold fast to the [Dogmatic] Decrees of the Four Councils, and in every way follow the Holy Fathers... and their writings on the True Faith” (Labbe and Cossart, “Concilia,”; The Fifth Ścumenical Council, the Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.], Emperor: Justinian I; Roman Catholic Pope: Vigilius I [Friday, March 29, 537 -  Saturday, June 7, 555], “Extracts from the Acts”, Session I, Tome V, Column 419; emphasis added).

Example # 3

“All those who from time to time have been condemned or anathematized by the Catholic Church, and by the aforesaid Four Councils, we confessed that we hold them condemned and anathematized” (Labbe and Cossart, “Concilia,”; The Fifth Ścumenical Council, the Second Council of Constantinople [Saturday, May 5, 553 A.D. - Saturday, June 2, 553 A.D.], Emperor: Justinian I; Infallible Roman Catholic Pope: Vigilius I [Friday, March 29, 537 -  Saturday, June 7, 555], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated the Infallible “Extracts from the Acts”, Session I, Tome V, Column 419; emphasis added).

Example # 4

“If anyone in word and mind does not properly and truly confess according to the Holy Fathers all, even to the last portion, that has been handed down and preached in the Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of God, and likewise by the Holy Fathers and the Five venerable Universal Councils, let him be condemned” (Father Heinrich Joseph Dominicus Denzinger [b. at Liège, Belgium on Sunday, October 10, 1819 A.D. - d. at Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany on Tuesday, June 19, 1883 A.D.], “Enchiridion Symbolorum et Definitionum”, # 270, The Lateran Council [649 A.D.] of the Catholic Church, Canon 17; emphasis added).

3) By some of the Fathers of the Infallible Ścumenical Councils of the Catholic Church themselves:

Patriarch Saint Athanasius, with 90 other Bishops, taught that “‘the Word of the Lord’, pronounced by the Ścumenical Synod [Council] of Nicæa, ‘endureth for ever’ (1 Peter 1:25)” (“Ad Afros Epistola Synodica”, written about 369 A.D., To the Bishops of Africa, A Letter of Ninety Bishops of Egypt and Libya, Including [Saint] Athanasius, ¶ 2; emphasis added).

At Least Three Roman Catholic Popes Tell You This:

 Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great
[Saturday, September 29, 440 - Thursday, November 10, 461]

1) He  states that those who defy the Dogmatic Decrees of The First Ścumenical Council, The First Council of Nicæa [Saturday, June 20, 325 A.D. - Tuesday, August 25, 325 A.D.] and The Fourth Ścumenical Council, the First Council of Chalcedon [Sunday, October 8, 451 A.D. -  Wednesday, November 1, 451 A.D.], could not be numbered among Catholics.  Also, the Dogmatic Decrees of the First Council of Chalcedon were framed “instruente Spiritu Sancto” - under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (“Epistle 78”, To Marcian Augustus).

2) “We go not away in aught from those rules of Faith which the Godhead of the Holy Ghost brought forward at the Infallible Council of Chalcedon” (“Epistle 120”, To Theodoret, Bishop of Cyrus, on Perseverance in the Faith, ¶ 4; emphasis added).

3)  “.... to arrive with certainty at the Truth by making use of the knowledge of many.  Consequently the same things, which have come into our mind by the Divine inspiration, have received the assent and confirmation of a large number of the brethren” (“Epistle 166”, To Neo, Bishop of Ravenna; emphasis added).

4)  The axiom “universæ fraternitatis irretractabili firmavit assensu” - the firm, irrevocable/unchangeable assent to Definitive Dogmatic Conciliar Doctrinal Truths by the Universal Fraternity/Brotherhood - the Bishops of the Catholic Church - has been imputed to the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Leo the Great (“The Catholic Encyclopedia”, Volume VII, p.

Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great
[Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604]

1) He  states that “Those [Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church] whom they venerate, I embrace; since, they [the Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church] having been constituted by universal consent....” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Gregory the Great [Friday, September 3, 590 - Monday, March 12, 604], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical Epistle 25, To John, Bishop [Patriarch] of Constantinople, and the Other Patriarchs - Eulogius of Alexandria, Gregory of Antioch, John of Jerusalem, and Anastasias, Ex-Patriarch of Antioch, ¶ 10).

2) He  states that “I confess that I receive and revere, as the four books of the Gospel so also the Four Councils... The Fifth Council also I equally venerate” (Ibid.).

3) He  states that “All persons whom the aforesaid venerable Councils [of the Catholic Church] repudiate, I repudiate” (Ibid.).

4) He  states that “Those whom they venerate, I embrace; since, they having been constituted by universal consent, he overthrows not them but himself - whosoever presumes either to loose those whom they bind, or to bind those whom they loose”  (Ibid.).

5) He anathematized all who do not accept the first five Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church:  “Whosoever, therefore, thinks otherwise, let him be anathema.  But whosoever holds the Faith of the aforesaid Synods, peace be to him from God the Father, through Jesus Christ His Son.... in the Unity of the Holy Spirit for ever and ever.  Amen”  (Ibid.).

Roman Catholic Pope Vigilius I
[Friday, March 29, 537 -  Saturday, June 7, 555]

1) He admitted he erred on “the matter of the Three Chapters” and, after 6 months,  he agreed with the Infallible Fifth Ścumenical Council of the Catholic Church, The Second Council of Constantinople, and thereupon annulled his writings which defended “the Three Chapters”:  “At last [he] ... resigned himself to the advice of the Council, and six months afterwards wrote a letter to the Patriarch Eutychius....  He says, that, after having better examined the matter of the Three Chapters, he finds them worthy of condemnation.... We....  annul by this writing all that has been done by Us or by others for the defense of the Three Chapters” (Abbot Claude Fleury [b. at Paris, France on Thursday, December 6, 1640 A.D. - d. at Paris, France on Wednesday, July 14, 1723. A.D.], “Histoire Ecclesiastique”, Liv. 33, 52.)

Conclusion

The conclusion is that all valid and lawful/licit Ścumenical/General Councils of the Catholic Church are both Infallible and Autocephalous (Independent) in and of themselves.

Most of these many changes    are not only   illegal,  but they are also   invalid,  and   most of them include the censure of  automatic excommunication of the perpetrators,  because, in reality, such changes by the cabal of   automatically excommunicated Innovators,   as well as   the secret gangs   of anti-Catholic Infiltrators,    are changes which are  anti-Catholic!

Knowledge

It is of the greatest importance that in order to gain assured knowledge of things, to rely on exact acquaintance with facts, rather than on the uncertain testimony of public rumor; and then what we have proved for certain we may proclaim without hesitation.
