Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory
Released by Traditional Catholic Requiem Masses
The greatest relief for the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory is to have the Holy Sacrifice of the Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass offered for the happy repose of their Souls. This is taught De Fide by the Council of Trent:
“Whereas the Catholic Church, instructed by the Holy Ghost, has, from the Sacred writings and the ancient Tradition of the Fathers, taught, in Sacred Councils, and very recently in this Œcumenical Synod, that there is a Purgatory, and that the Souls there detained are helped by the suffrages of the Faithful, but principally by the acceptable Sacrifice of the Altar [i.e. by the Traditional Catholic Mass].” (Roman Catholic Council of Trent, Session Twenty-Five, December, 4, 1563, held under the Sovereign Pontiff, Pope Pius IV, Giovanni Angelo De Medici [Friday, December 25, 1559 - Thursday, December 9, 1565], Decree Concerning Purgatory; emphasis added.)
A number of books have been written about the personal experiences which some people have had regarding the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory.
We have also had Our own personal experiences, and these are of two kinds.
The first kind of personal experiences have to do with Masses which We have Offered for specific Souls in Purgatory at the request of one or more people for the only purpose of helping those Souls in Purgatory to be more quickly released from Purgatory and go to Heaven. Because of the purpose of these Masses, it is self-evident that, with a rare exception, the Souls released from Purgatory do not give Us their Testimonial about how Our Masses got their release from Purgatory.
The second kind of personal experiences have to do with Masses Offered for all of the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory for their intercession concerning a specific temporal intention requested by people in need of the help of the Poor Souls.
Over many years, in addition to the first, and primary type of Mass Intention (i.e. for a specific Soul in Purgatory), We have also Offered Requiem Masses for all of the Souls in Purgatory for specific temporal intentions. In this case, those Catholics who have gotten their temporal intentions granted by the Poor Souls frequently thanked all of the Souls in Purgatory for their intercessory help. However, until a few months ago, We had never thought about providing an actual web page on which such people could provide their own personal Testimonial for the powerful intercession of the Souls in Purgatory in granting their intention(s).
Therefore, since the idea of a Testimonials web page for the Poor Souls is obviously something We have never had before, it will obviously take a little time for Catholics, who have had their Mass Intentions to the Poor Souls granted, to become aware of this opportunity in order to further increase devotion to the Poor Souls in Purgatory, and, in the process, to release as many Souls from Purgatory as possible according to God's Holy Will.
Therefore, what follows relates a few personal experiences, expecially four of Our own personal experiences, but also a few of Our personal Testimonials to the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory for granting some of Our personal Mass Intentions.

“The following is taken from a pious author quoted by Father Rossignoli (MERV., 17). Two Religious, of eminent virtue, vied with each other in leading a holy life. One of them fell sick and learned in a vision that he should soon die, that he should be saved, and that he should remain in Purgatory only until the first Mass should be celebrated for the repose of his Soul. Full of joy at these tidings, he hastened to impart them to his friend, and entreated him not to delay the celebration of the Mass which was to open Heaven to him.”
“He died the following morning, and his holy companion lost no time in celebrating the Holy Sacrifice. After Mass, while he was making his Thanksgiving, and still continuing to pray for his departed friend, the latter appeared to him radiant with glory, but in a tone sweetly plaintive he asked why that one Mass, of which he stood in need, had been so long delayed.”
“My blessed brother, replied the Religious, I delayed so long, you say? I do not understand you.”
“What! Did you not leave me to suffer for more than a year before offering Mass for the repose of my soul?”
“Indeed, my dear brother, I commenced Mass immediately after your death; not a quarter of an hour had elapsed.”
“Then, regarding him with emotion, the blessed soul cried out:How terrible are those expiatory pains, since thy have caused me to mistake minutes for a year. Serve God, my dear brother, with an exact fidelity, in order that you may avoid those chastisements. Farewell! I fly to Heaven, where you will soon join me.”(Fr. F. X. Schouppe, S.J., Purgatory Explained by the Lives and Legends of the Saints, published by Burns & Oates, Ltd., London and Benziger Brothers, New York, Imprimatur by Herbert Cardinal Vaughan, October 11, 1893, pp. 64-65.)
Said another way, one hour of 60 minutes of so-called earth-time, is more than four years of so-called Purgatory-time!
The Fires of Purgatory
Less than 15 minutes
Less than 1 hour
Less than 1 day, or less than 24 hours
Less than 1 week, or less than 168 hours
Less than 1 year, or less than 8,736 hours
More than one year
More than four years
More than 96 years
More than 672 years
More than 34,944 years
Yet some people mistakenly think going to Purgatory is no big deal!!!
A Word to the Wise!
The Eternal Fires of Hell
Many worldly, materialistic, paganistic, and other assortments of evil people, especially Terrorists, Gang Members, Criminal Politicians, Criminal Judges, other Criminals, Illegals, Thieves, Liars, Killers, and even some religious-type people, etc., etc., think nothing of going to Hell where the horrific pain of punishment lasts for eternity!!!
Remember, at Fatima in 1917, the three children were shown Hell, but for a short moment. They never forgot it and made sacrifices for sinners to help bad people, as well as dumb, ignorant, foolish, pride-filled people, from falling into Hell.
# 1 - A Personal Experience
At the request of a pious Lady, We visited her elderly Father who was in a hospital. We spoke with him for a few minutes and God gave Him the Grace of repentance for he desired to receive the Last Rites which We Administered to him. (He was one of several people We have encountered who had been away from the Catholic Church for over 50 years and to whom We Administered the Last Rites.)
A short time later, We had to take care of some very important business which was over 1,000 miles away. A few days later, We received a telephone call from the same pious Lady who told Us that her Father had died within that hour and while she and her Daughter were kneeling on the floor of her home, saying the Rosary for him, part of the floor opened up and both she and her Daughter saw her Father/Grandfather burning in the intense flames of the fires of Purgatory!
He begged her to immediately ask Us to Offer a Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him because this one Requiem Mass was all he needed to be released from Purgatory and go to Heaven.
Even though several Traditional Catholic Clergy, who were only a few hundred miles away from her, could Offered this Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him, he very strongly insisted that his Daughter contacts Us immediately, and, lest there be any misunderstandings, he was very specific and mentioned Our name and told his Daughter not to have anyone else Offer this Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him, but that he needed Us to Offer this Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him ASAP!
Apparently, during the few weeks after We had Administered the Last Rites to him, he had fallen back into a few bad habits and thus went to Purgatory when he died.
Once again, her Father was very insistent that it had to be Us to Offer this Requiem Mass for him, perhaps either because We use a 1941 edition of the Traditional Catholic Requiem Missal used for Requiem Masses (We later determined the other Traditional Catholic Clergy used later editions of this Missal), and/or because We had, only a few weeks before then, received him back into the Catholic Church and Administered the Last Rites to him?
Thus the call ended and We immediately vested for the Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass and then We Offered that Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass on the Altar of the private Chapel which was at the same place where We were staying on business. As a result, she never saw her Father, or heard from him again. Although his Daughter considered that her Father had been released from Purgatory, she still sent Us several stipends for additional Traditional Catholic Requiem Masses.
# 2 - A Personal Experience
One Sunday afternoon, We received a telephone call at Our Chancery Office from a person who was a personal friend of the Holy Prelate whom We had known for many, many years. The telephone call had sad news. This Holy Prelate, who lived over 2,000 miles away, had just died about 30 minutes before then. Upon hearing this sad news, We immediately began preparations to Offer a Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him.
Even before We finished unvesting, after having Offered this Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him, a real continuous miracle began to happen which did not last 10 minutes, or one hour, or even twelve hours. This real miracle lasted for well over one full day of 24 hours! Perhaps one day We will be permitted to reveal this wonderful miracle?
# 3 - A Personal Experience
Tuesday, of the same week which is mentioned in # 2 above, in other words, two days after We had Offered a Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for the Holy Prelate whom We had known for many, many years, using Our old typewriter, which was sitting on a special heavy-duty typewriter stand, with wheels, which was next to Our wooden desk, We were typing on a sheet of paper a page of Our Thomistic theological treatise on the Ontological Essence of the Holy Sacrifice of the Traditional Catholic Mass when this Holy Catholic Prelate came from Heaven to visit Us and to thank Us, personally, for the Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass We had Offered for him two days before. But he did much more than thank Us! He also told Us certain “secrets”, along with some other things. After all of this, he returned to Heaven as quickly as he had come!
Bottom line: We deeply appreciate his great help, insights, and also the “secrets” he gave to Us, even though We do not consider anything We had done, or intended to do, to merit such great Blessings, feeling totally unworthy of any of them.
In Our spare time, We spent several decades researching one of these “secrets” and eventually We had more than sufficient evidence which would prove to every doubting Thomas that this one “secret” really is true!
We decided to organize all of Our research data, notes, etc., on this one subject, and write a book about this one “secret” which We were permitted to reveal!
Unfortunately, book publishers, being more interested in making huge sums of money, rather than in telling the Truth about a certain controversial subject, have refused to publish Our book about it. The same fate was met concerning some of Our other books which We have also written over many decades since then!
# 4 - A Personal Experience
This final example is the case of a different pious Lady. Her oldest Brother was very ill and about to die. Because he lived in a different state, this pious Lady, whom some might be wont to consider a Mystic, if they knew her, adequately provided the necessary means for Us to be able to Administer the Last Rites to her dying Brother.
About 2 weeks after We had Administered the Last Rites to him, this Lady received the sad news that her Brother had just died. She then informed Us and requested that We Offer the Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him as soon as possible. This We did. But, unfortunately, she was unable to attend the first Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass during which her deceased Brother spoke to Us and gave Us a personal message for his Sister who had requested this Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him.
Fortunately, this Lady was able to physically attend the second Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass, which We began shortly after We had finished the first Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass.
The reason for the short delay before We began the second Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass was not only to give her the time needed to attend this second Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass, but also to give her the message from her Brother gave Us for her.
After We finished this second Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for her Brother, this pious Lady told Us what she had heard and seen during Our second Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for her Brother.
Among other things, she told Us that her Brother, who had died less than two hours before then, appeared to her during this second Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass for him. She said that her Brother was wearing a white linen suit, with a white shirt, and a white linen tie. He was very happy because, at that very time, she saw him as he was going up to Heaven as the result of the two Traditional Catholic Requiem Masses We had just Offered for him. She told Us everything he had told her concerning her and her family. But he had also included a message for Us. These messages were a great comfort for her and her family.
We hope that the first example has helped you to better understand that the actual sufferings in Purgatory are many times more intense than the worst sufferings in this life. The Souls in Purgatory really do need YOUR charitable help, since they can not help each other or themselves, although they can help those of us in this life. The Traditional Catholic Requiem Mass is the most powerful and the quickest way to obtain either an alleviation in the sufferings of a Soul in Purgatory, or to totally expiate for their sufferings so that they may be taken to Heaven.
Front cover of Our 1941 edition of the Traditional Catholic Requiem Missal known as “Missæ Defunctorum” which We have always used for Funerals and all other Traditional Catholic Requiem Masses, including the last four examples above.
In your Charity, please remember the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory. There are many, many Souls who must remain in Purgatory much longer because, before they died, they did very little, if anything, to help the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory. Now they are being treated the same way they treated others - they are ignored! A word to the wise is sufficient!

Many decades ago, We made a Novena of Masses for all of the Poor Souls in Purgatory for a certain intention which the Poor Souls granted before the conclusion of this Novena!
We began Our devotion to the Poor, Suffering Souls in Purgatory when We were in about the 5th or 6th Grade, especially on All Souls Day when We made many trips into the Church in order to gain as many Plenary Indulgences as possible for the Poor Souls.
When We were in the Seminary, We consulted the Raccolta (a book of prayers, etc., to which indulgences are attached), to find everything to which a Plenary Indulgence was attached, and then did what was possible to gain these Plenary Indulgences for the Poor Souls.
When We Offer Traditional Catholic Requiem Masses, whether for Our own personal Intentions, or those of others, We have found that the Poor Souls usually grant such Intentions (i.e., those which are in conformity with God's Holy Will) rather quickly, both for others and for Ourself.
For those of you who would like to request one or more Traditional Catholic Requiem Masses for all of the Souls in Purgatory for one or more of your specific intentions (i.e., those which are in conformity with God's Holy Will):
