Do You Know?

What is Apostasy?

Rome in 1846, St. Peter's Basilica

“Corruption is in Holy Places....
Rome will lose the Faith  [Apostasy]
and become the Seat of anti-Christ...
The Church will be in eclipse...”
Our Lady of LaSalette
Prophecy to  Frances Melanie Mathieu
Saturday, September 19, 1846 A.D.

The Roman Catholic Church, in the person of Pope  Pius IX, Giovanni M. Mastai Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], officially approved both this Apparition and its Prophecies as genuine on Tuesday, August 24, 1852.

The Pope also permitted Bishop Philibert de Bruillard [b. Thursday, September 12, 1765 - d. Saturday, December 15, 1860] Bishop of Grenoble, France [Sunday, August 6, 1826 - Tuesday, December 7, 1852], to make a like pronouncement in his Diocese of Grenoble, France.

Therefore, in the Diocese of Bishop Philibert de Bruillard of Grenoble, France it was read to every Congregation at every Mass on Sunday, November 16, 1851.

Bishop Philibert de Bruillard obtained the help of his friend, Bishop Clément Villecourt [b. Tuesday, October 9, 1787 - d. Thursday, January 17, 1867], Bishop of of La Rochelle (-Saintes), France [Sunday, March 13, 1836 - Friday, March 7, 1856], to do the same thing in his Diocese of La Rochelle (-Saintes), France.  Bishop Clément Villecourt became Clément Cardinal Villecourt on Monday, December 17, 1855, and remained the Bishop of of La Rochelle (-Saintes), France.

The entire Secret Prophecy which Our Lady of LaSalette gave to Frances Melanie Mathieu was published in 1879 with the approval of Bishop Salvatore Luigi Zola, C.R.L.  [b. Saturday, April 13, 1822 - d. Wednesday, April 27, 1898], a member of the Canons Regular of the Congregation of the Most Holy Saviour of the Lateran (Congregatio Sanctissimi Salvatoris Lateranensis), Bishop of Lecce [Friday, June 22, 1877 - Wednesday, April  27, 1898], the Bishop of the Diocese Lecce, Italy.

“We've had enough of exhortations to be silent!  Cry out with a hundred thousand tongues.  I see that the world is rotten because of silence” (Saint Catherine of Siena [b.  at Siena on Saturday, March 25, 1347 A.D. -  d. at Rome on Saturday, April 29, 1380 A.D.] Dominican Tertiary, Mystic.  Secondary source:  Dr. Rama Coomaraswamy, The Destruction of the Christian Tradition, p. 247).

“These latter days have witnessed a notable increase in the number of the enemies of the Cross of Christ, who, by arts entirely new and full of deceit, are striving to destroy the vital energy of the Church, and, as far as in them lies, utterly to subvert the very Kingdom of Christ. Wherefore, We may no longer keep silence, lest We should seem to fail in Our most Sacred Duty, and lest the kindness that, in the hope of wiser counsels, We have hitherto shown them, should be set down to lack of diligence in the discharge of Our Office  (Pope Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto [b. at Riese, Lombardy-Venetia, Austrian Empire on Tuesday, June 2, 1835; Pope: Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], Encyclical “Pascendi Dominici Gregis”, On the Doctrine of the Modernists, Sunday, September 8, 1907, ¶ 1; emphasis added.)

On Saturday, September 19, 1846 A.D., when Our Lady of LaSalette told Frances Melanie Mathieu, as part of the Secret, that Rome will lose the Faith, Our Lady of LaSalette was giving this young Lady a Prophecy about the Apostasy of the Roman Catholic Church, the historic symbol for which has been Rome, Italy, and more specifically, Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

What exactly does the term lose the Faith really mean?

It means two things.

1.  To lose the Faith means apostasy which is the loss of the Faith.

2.  The term the Faith means The Divine Deposit of Faith.

What is The Divine Deposit of Faith, sometimes called The Deposit of Faith?

The Divine Deposit of Faith is a term which is to be found in “The Oath Against Modernism”, 4th Point:

“Fourthly, I sincerely hold that the Doctrine of Faith was handed down to us from the Apostles through the officially approved Fathers, in exactly the same sense and with always the same meaning.  And, therefore, I completely reject the heretical notion that Dogmas evolve and change from one meaning to another different from the one meaning which the Church held from the beginning.  I likewise condemn every erroneous notion according to which, instead of  The Divine Deposit of Faith entrusted by Christ to His spouse, the Church, and to be faithfully guarded by Her, one may substitute a philosophical system or a creation of the human mind gradually refined by human effort and capable of continual and indefinite development.” (Pope Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto [b. at Riese, Lombardy-Venetia, Austrian Empire on Tuesday, June 2, 1835; Pope: Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], Papal Motu Proprio [On His Own Initiative], “Sacrorum Antistitum” - “The Oath Against Modernism”, 4th Point, Thursday, September 1, 1910, AAS - “Acta Apostolica Sedis” - Acts of the Apostolic See, 2-655; “Fontes”, n. 689, Volume III, page 774; emphasis added.)
For the record, “The Oath Against Modernism” is taken immediately after “The Profession of Faith by all those mentioned in Canon 1406 who are required to make “The Profession of Faith”.

Who are required to make “The Profession of Faith”?

CANON 1406

§  The following are bound by the obligation of making The Profession of Faith in accordance with the formula approved by the Apostolic See:

1.o  In the presence of the presiding officer or his delegate, all who attend an ecumenical or a particular council or a diocesan synod with an effective vote or the right to counsel; the presiding office makes it in the presence of the council or the synod.

2.o  In the presence of the dean of the Sacred College, of the cardinals first in rank among the cardinal priests and the cardinal deacons, and of the cardinal chamberlain, those who have been promoted to the cardinalitial rank;

3.o  In the presence of a delegate of the Holy See, those who have been promoted to an episcopal see, even a non-residential see, or to the post of governing an abbacy nullius, a prelacy nullius, a vicariate apostolic, or a prefecture apostolic;

4.o  In the presence of the cathedral chapter, the capitular vicar (in the presence of the board of consultors, the administrator);

5.o  In the presence of the local ordinary or his delegate and of the chapter, those promoted to be capitular dignitaries or canons;

6.o  In the presence of the local ordinary or his delegate and of the other consultors, those appointed to the post of diocesan consultor;

7.o  In the presence of the local ordinary or his delegate, the vicar general; pastors and all who have received any benefice, even a manual one, to which the care of souls is attached; in seminaries, at the beginning of each scholastic year or at least when the post is assumed, the rector and the instructors in sacred theology, canon law, and philosophy; all who are to be promoted to the order of subdiaconate; censors of books; and, before faculties are given for the exercise of these functions, priests who are to be assigned to the hearing of confessions, and sacred preachers;

8.o  In the presence of the ordinary or his delegate, the rector of a university or a faculty; in the presence of the rector of the university or of the faculty or of his delegate, all the professors in a canonically established university or faculty, at the beginning of each scholastic year or at least when the post is assumed; and also those who, having passed their examination, are to be awarded academic degrees;

9.o  In the presence of the appointing chapter or the superior or their delegate, superiors in clerical religious institutes.

§ 2.  When anyone, giving up a previous appointment, obtains another office, benefice, or dignity of the same kind, he must again make The Profession of Faith in accordance with this Canon.  (English translation from:  John A. Abbo, S.T.L, J.C.D., Jerome D. Hannan, A.M., LL.B., S.T.D., J.C.D., THE SACRED CANONS, A Concise Presentation of the Current Disciplinary Norms of the Church, Volume II (Canons 870-2414), pp. 642-644.)

What are the contents of  The Divine Deposit of Faith, sometimes called The Deposit of Faith?

The contents of The Divine Deposit of Faith, sometimes called The Deposit of Faith, are Sacred Scripture and Divine Tradition:

“18. Unfortunately these advocates of novelty [the NEW Theology Theologians] easily pass from despising Scholastic Theology to the neglect of and even contempt for the Teaching Authority of the Church itself, which gives such authoritative approval to Scholastic Theology. This Teaching Authority is represented by them as a hindrance to progress and an obstacle in the way of science. Some non-Catholics consider it as an unjust restraint preventing some more qualified theologians from reforming their subject. And although this Sacred Office of Teacher in matters of Faith and Morals must be the proximate and universal criterion of Truth for all theologians, since to it has been entrusted by Christ Our Lord the whole Deposit of Faith -- Sacred Scripture and Divine Tradition -- to be preserved, guarded and interpreted, still the duty that is incumbent on the Faithful to flee also those errors which more or less approach Heresy, and accordingly to keep also the Constitutions and Decrees by which such evil opinions are proscribed and forbidden by the Holy See, [2] is sometimes as little known as if it did not exist.”  (Pope Pius XII, Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli [b. at Rome, Kingdom of Italy on Thursday, March 2, 1876; Pope: Thursday, March 2, 1939 - d. at Castel Gandolfo, Italy on Thursday, October 9, 1958], Encyclical, “Humani Generis,” Concerning Some False Opinions Threatening to Undermine the Foundations of Catholic Doctrine, Saturday, August 12, 1950, ¶ 18; emphasis added.)

What is Sacred Scripture and Divine Tradition?

Sacred Scripture and Divine Tradition compose Divine Revelation.

What is Divine Revelation?

“I. NATURE AND OFFICE....  3. Christianity... contains the fullness or perfection of Divine Revelation, made known to mankind by the Son of God Himself.”

“IV. UNIVERSAL HISTORY OF THE CHURCH....  There is but one  Divine Revelation given us by Christ, but one ecclesiastical Tradition based on it; hence one only Church can be the true one, i. e. the Church in which the aforesaid Revelation is found in its entirety, and whose institutions have developed on the basis of this Revelation and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. To assume equality among the various forms of the Christian religion would be equivalent to a denial of the Divine origin and supernatural character of the Church.”  (The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume VII, History, Ecclesiastical, I. NATURE AND OFFICE, p. 365-c; IV. UNIVERSAL HISTORY OF THE CHURCH, p. 367-c; Copyright 1910 by Robert Appleton Company, Nihil Obstat, Wednesday, June 1, 1910. Remy Lafort, S.T.D., Censor, Imprimatur. + John Cardinal Farley, Archbishop of New York.)

Because the fullness or perfection of Divine Revelation, was made known to mankind by the Son of God Himself, the definition of Divine Revelation  should be self-evident to everyone:
Divine Revelation IS Divine Truth.
This fact was taught by the Common Doctor in the 13th Centry, which some Church Historians consider to be the Century of the Catholic Faith:
"In order that the salvation of men might be brought about more fitly and more surely, it was necessary that they should be taught  Divine Truths by Divine Revelation "  (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D. in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, Summa Theologica, Part I, Question 1, Article 1, Conclusion; emphasis added), which has been given us by Christ, and from Christ, transmitted to His Apostles, and from His Apostles to their Episcopal Successors, including the Apostolic Fathers, and the Fathers of the Catholic Church, etc.
Therefore:
Divine Revelation IS Divine Truth.
Therefore:

Apostasy, which is the loss of the Divine Deposit of Faith, is ultimately the loss of the Divine Truths which compose Divine Revelation.  This also means that Apostasy is an anti-Divine Revelation of anti-Divine Truths, and ultimately a manifestation of anti-Christ lies which contradict the Divine Truths which compose Divine Revelation.

Heretics, Apostates, Innovators, and Infiltrators occupy our churches. But they are outside the True Faith.   Catholics Faithful to Tradition remain outside the places of worship, but the Faith dwells within them. Which is more important: the place or the Faith?  The True Faith, obviously... Even if Catholics Faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the True Church of Jesus Christ(cf.  Patriarch Saint Athanasius, Coll. Selecta SS. Eccl. Patrum. Caillu, Guillou, Volume 32, pp 411-412).

“… the Church, which seeks only to be able freely to preach … with respect for… every religion”   (Pope JP-2, Sermon, April 12, 1997, “L’Osservatore Romano”, The Official Vatican Newspaper, April 16, 1997, p. 3; emphasis added).

October 16, 1979

“It is extremely important to give a correct and fair presentation of the other Churches and ecclesial communities that the Spirit of Christ does not refrain from usingas means of salvation; ‘moreover, some, even very many, of the outstanding elements and endowments which together go to build up and give life to the Church herself, can exist outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church’  (V-2, Decree on Ecumenism, Unitatis Redintegratio, 3, November 21, 1964: AAS 57 (1965), p. 93.)  (JP-2, Apostolic Exhortation, “Catechesi Tradendae” - On Catechesis in Our Time, October16, 1979; emphasis added).

February 24, 1980

“The duty of respecting the faith of every person is at one and the same time correlative to the natural and civil right of  liberty of conscience and religion” (Pope JP-2, Sermon, Sunday, February 24, 1980; emphasis added).

July 12, 1995

“Even with regard to the work of evangelization and sanctification, the Council's attitude is sincere and respectful. It affirms that the [non-Catholic] Churches and ecclesial communities are not in fact deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. For the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation   (V-2, Decree on Ecumenism, Unitatis Redintegratio, 3, November 21, 1964: AAS 57 (1965), p. 93.)

All this contains the impelling appeal for full unity. It is not merely a matter of gathering all the spiritual riches scattered throughout the Christian communities, as if in so doing we might arrive at a more perfect Church, the Church which God would desire for the future.” (JP-2, General Audience, July 12, 1995; emphasis added).

JP-2 kissing the Holy Book of Mohammadanism.

Left to Right: Chaldean Patriarch Raphael_I_Bidawid of Iraq, Pope JP-2, and the Islamic (Mohammadan) Clergyman from Iraq.

Most of you are probably familiar with the first photo above showing only Pope JP-2 and a person wearing the traditional Arab attire.

But most of you most probably have not seen the second photo above, which includes the Chaldean Patriarch Raphael I Bidawid of Iraq?  For some reason, the Patriarch was cut out of the first photo which has had fairly wide circulation.

Some claim this event happened in January, 2000, at the end of an audience JP-2 had with Patriarch Raphael I of Iraq, and a visiting Mohammadan delegation, when JP-2 bowed to the Mohammadan holy book, the Qu’ran, a.k.a. Koran, presented to him by an Islamic (Mohammadan) clergyman from Iraq who looks on, and kissed it as a sign of respect.

Others claim it happened in Damascus, Syria, on May 6, 2001, on one of JP-2's travels.

For the record, the Koran is the same Islamic Holy Book that forbids Mohammadans to befriend Christians, instructing them to "fight and kill the infidels (Catholics, Christians, and Jews) wherever you find them."

Brief Editorial Commentary by Patriarch Jacobus Maria DeJesus, D.D.

The first photo shows only JP-2 and the Islamic (Mohammadan) Clergyman from Iraq.  The second also shows the Chaldean Patriarch Raphael I Bidawid of Iraq.

The press service FIDES claims that the Chaldean Patriarch Raphael I Bidawid of Iraq, whom the second photo proves was physically present when this event happened, said the following of a Papal Audience with Pope JP-2 which was held in the Vatican:

"On May 14th, I was received by the Pope [JP-2], together with a delegation composed of the Shi’ite Imam of Khadum mosque and the Sunni president of the council of administration of the Iraqi Islamic Bank. There was also a representative of the Iraqi ministry of religion. I renewed our invitation to the Pope, because his visit would be for us a grace from heaven. It would confirm the faith of Christians and prove the Pope’s love for the whole of humanity in a country which is mainly Muslim."

"At the end of the audience, the Pope bowed to the Muslim holy book, the Qu’ran, presented to him by the delegation, and he kissed it as a sign of respect. The photo of that gesture has been shown repeatedly on Iraqi television and it demonstrates that the Pope is not only aware of the suffering of the Iraqi people, he has also great respect for Islam."

"A papal visit would be welcomed by both the people and by the authorities. After the audience I immediately sent a recommendation to the Iraqi government to make the official step of inviting the Pope to Iraq."

We understand that the reaction to this act of heresy and apostasy by Pope JP-2 from the Catholics in Iraq was, according to various sources, summarized in this one sentence:
"The pope put his foot on the neck of all Chaldeans with this action."
The term putting your foot on the neck of someone should need no explanation in any culture or language.  But, for those who are ignorant of what this similarity with various cultures means - it is being a bully, a tyrant, a trouble-maker, and, among other things - it is something done by an evil person who is seriously considering killing you.

Therefore, the blatant lies by various amatuer and professional apologiests that the person wearing the clothes of an Arab was a Catholic Bishop, and that the book JP-2 kissed was a Catholic Bible, is ridiculous, not to mention an insult to one's intelligence!

This kind of blatantly evil propaganda merely exposes the extent to which the apologists for JP-2, not to mention other Synod Vatican 2 church popes, will go in order to defend the anti-Catholic bad behavior of the heretical and apostate pope, whoever he is at any given time.

Such apologiests have no credibility and take advantage of the ignorance of the Visitors to their web sites and/or of those who read their printed publications.

Such actions of the Synod Vatican 2 church popes merely confirm and verify at least some of the facts found in the book on Our web page at:

Canon 1

CANON 1:   “There is one Universal Church of the Faithful, outside of which there is absolutely no salvation. In which there is the same priest and sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose Body and Blood are truly contained in the Sacrament of the Altar under the forms of bread and wine; the bread being changed (Transubstantiation) by Divine Power into the Body, and the wine into the Blood, so that to realize the mystery of unity we may receive of Him what He has received of us. And this Sacrament no one can effect except the priest who has been duly [validly] Ordained in accordance with the keys of the Church, which Jesus Christ Himself gave to the Apostles and their successors.”  (H. J. Schroeder, “Disciplinary Decrees of the General Councils: Text, Translation and Commentary”, published by B. Herder, 1937, St. Louis, Twelfth Œcumenical Council, The Fourth Lateran Council - [Sunday, November 1, 1215 A.D. - Monday, November 30, 1215 A.D.], Canon 1, with the Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Innocent III, Lotario Dei Conti Di Segni [Thursday, January 8, 1198 - Saturday, July 16, 1216], who, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated the Infallible Canon 1; emphasis added).

Canon 3

CANON 3:   “Text. We excommunicate and anathematize every heresy that raises against the holy, orthodox and Catholic faith which we have above explained; condemning all heretics under whatever names they may be known, for while they have different faces they are nevertheless bound to each other by their tails, since in all of them vanity is a common element...”

We decree that those who give credence to the teachings of the heretics, as well as those who receive, defend, and patronize them, are excommunicated; and we firmly declare that after any one of them has been branded with excommunication, if he has deliberately failed to make satisfaction within a year, let him incur ipso jure the stigma of infamy and let him not be admitted to public offices or deliberations, and let him not take part in the election of others to such offices or use his right to give testimony in a court of law. Let him also be intestable, that he may not have the free exercise of making a will, and let him be deprived of the right of inheritance. Let no one be urged to give an account to him in any matter, but let him be urged to give an account to others. If perchance he be a judge, let his decisions have no force, nor let any cause be brought to his attention. If he be an advocate, let his assistance by no means be sought. If a notary, let the instruments drawn up by him be considered worthless, for, the author being condemned, let them enjoy a similar fate. In all similar cases we command that the same be observed. If, however, he be a cleric, let him be deposed from every office and benefice, that the greater the fault the graver may be the punishment inflicted.”  (H. J. Schroeder, “Disciplinary Decrees of the General Councils: Text, Translation and Commentary”, published by B. This perverse opinion is spread on all sides by the fraud of the wicked who claim that it is possible to obtain the eternal salvation of the Soul by the profession of any kind of religion, as long as morality is maintained” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, Bartolomeo Alberto-Mauro-Cappellari [Wednesday, February 2, 1831 - Monday, June 1, 1846], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Mirari Vos Arbitramur”, On Liberalism and Religious Indifferentism, Wednesday, August 15, 1832, ¶ 13; emphasis added).

“14. This poisoned source of  INDIFFERENTISM  gives rise to that absurd and erroneous proposition which claims that liberty of conscience  must be maintained for everyone.  It spreads ruin in sacred and civil affairs, though some repeat over and over again with the greatest impudence that some advantage accrues to religion from it. ‘But the death of the Soul is worse than freedom of error,’ as Augustine was wont to say [Saint Augustine, Epistle 166].  When all restraints are removed by which men are kept on the narrow path of truth, their nature, which is already inclined to evil, propels them to ruin. Then truly ‘the bottomless pit’[Apocalypse 9:3] is open from which John saw smoke ascending which obscured the sun, and out of which locusts flew forth to devastate the earth. Thence comes transformation of minds, corruption of youths, contempt of Sacred Things and Holy Laws -- in other words, this is a most contagious error”” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, Bartolomeo Alberto-Mauro-Cappellari [Wednesday, February 2, 1831 - Monday, June 1, 1846], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Mirari Vos Arbitramur”, On Liberalism and Religious Indifferentism, Wednesday, August 15, 1832, ¶ 14; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI's
Infallible Encyclical, “Quo Graviora”
Friday, October 4, 1833, ¶ 4

“4. You know, Venerable Brothers, on what erroneous principles the abovementioned men and their followers depend and where that desire which moves them to begin effecting a revolution in the Church has its origin. We do not think it superfluous to clarify many of those things and to explain them here. A false idea has for a long time grown stronger and spread widely through these regions. This idea is spread by an impious and absurd system of INDIFFERENCE  towards Religious matters which claims that the Christian Religion can become perfect in time. While the patrons of such a false idea are afraid to adapt the shaky possibility of perfection to the truths of faith, they establish it in the external administration and discipline of the Church. Moreover, in order to bring about faith in their error, they wrongfully and deceitfully usurp the authority of Catholic theologians. These theologians propound here and there a distinction between the teaching and the discipline of the Church which underlies this change, that it will always stand firm and never be harmed by any alteration. Once this is established, they state categorically that there are many things in the discipline of the Church in the present day, in its government, and in the form of its external worship which are not suited to the character of our time. These things, they say, should be changed, as they are harmful for the growth and prosperity of the Catholic religion, before the teaching of faith ant morals suffers any harm from it. Therefore, showing a zeal for religion and showing themselves as an example of piety, they force reforms, conceive of changes, and pretend to renew the Church”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, Bartolomeo Alberto-Mauro-Cappellari [Wednesday, February 2, 1831 - Monday, June 1, 1846], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Quo Graviora”, On the “Pragmatic Constitution”, October 4, 1833, ¶ 4; emphasis added).

“9. Now, however, these sect members are deprived of their expectations and regret the immense outlay of money spent in publishing their Bibles and spreading them without success. Some have now been found who have directed their efforts toward Italians, especially the citizens of Rome herself, after the manner of a new first assault. Actually We learned from reports and documents just received that a number of men of various sects met in the city of New York last year on June 12 and founded a new society called Christian League. Their common purpose is to spreadReligious liberty, or rather an INSANE  DESIRE for INDIFFERENCE concerning Religion, among Romans and Italians. They assert that the institutions of the Roman and Italian peoples have been so influential that anything of any consequence that has happened in the world had its origin in Rome. They arrive at this conclusion not because the Supreme See of Peter is here according to the plan of the Lord, but because there has been a certain residue of ancient Roman domination, usurped by Our predecessors, as they often repeat, but still active. Therefore they are determined to give everyone the gift of  liberty of conscience,   or rather of ERROR; they liken it to a fountain from which political liberty and increased public prosperity may spring forth” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, Bartolomeo Alberto-Mauro-Cappellari [Wednesday, February 2, 1831 - Monday, June 1, 1846], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Inter Præcipuas”, On Biblical Societies, Wednesday, May 8, 1844, ¶ 9; emphasis added).

Wednesday, May 8, 1844, ¶ 14

“14. We have no doubt that these cares of Ours and yours will be seconded with the aid of the civil powers, especially by the more influential princes of Italy. This is because of their exceptional zeal for preserving the Catholic religion and because they realize that the state would benefit if the efforts of the above-mentioned sect members should fail. Experience shows that there is no more direct way of alienating the populace from fidelity and obedience to their leaders than through that INDIFFERENCE to Religion propagated by the sect members under the [false] name of  Religious liberty” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, Bartolomeo Alberto-Mauro-Cappellari [Wednesday, February 2, 1831 - Monday, June 1, 1846], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Inter Præcipuas”, On Biblical Societies, May 8, 1844, ¶ 14; emphasis added).

“15.  Also perverse is the shocking theory that it makes no difference to which religion one belongs, a theory which is greatly at variance even with reason. By means of this theory, those crafty men remove all distinction between virtue and vice, Truth and error, honorable and vile action. They pretend that men can gain eternal salvation by the practice of  ANY  religion, as if there could ever be any sharing between justice and iniquity, any collaboration between light and darkness, or any agreement between Christ and Belial”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Qui Pluribus”, On Faith and Religion, Monday, November 9, 1846”, ¶ 15;emphasis added).

They leave nothing untried so that if it were possible, Our religion would be uprooted and human society itself might be destroyed” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Apostolicæ Nostræ Caritatis”, Urging Prayers for Peace, Tuesday, August 1, 1854, ¶ 1; emphasis added).

“2.... Therefore We must deplore all the following: the blindness covering the minds of many; the fierce war against everything Catholic...  the hideous hatred of virtue and rectitude... the unbridled liberty of thinking, living, and daring everything at will; the unrestrained intolerance of all rule, power, and authority; the mockery and contempt for Sacred Things, for Holy Laws, for even the finest institutions; the lamentable corruption of improvident youth; the annoying aggregate of bad books, pamphlets, and posters flying about everywhere and teaching sin; the deadly virus ofINDIFFERENTISM    and incredulity....  Serious evils indeed are to be feared in private and public affairs when men, miserably deserting the norms of Truth, justice, and Religion, enslave themselves to their own evil and unbridled desires in resolute labor for all that is sinful” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Apostolicæ Nostræ Caritatis”, Urging Prayers for Peace, August 1, 1854, ¶ 2; emphasis added).

Monday, March 17, 1856, ¶ 3

“3. Among the many deplorable evils which disturb and afflict both ecclesiastical and civil society, two stand out in our day and are justly considered to be the cause of the others. In effect, you are aware of the innumerable and fatal damages which the  HIDEOUS  ERROR   OF   INDIFFERENTISM causes to Christian and civil society. It causes us to forget out duties to God in whom we live and act and have our being. It causes us to slacken our concern for Holy Religion and shakes almost to destruction the very basis of all law, justice, and virtue. There is little difference between this hideous form of   INDIFFERENCE   and the  DEVILISH   SYSTEM  of INDIFFERENCE  between the different religions. This belief embraces people who have strayed from the Truth, who are enemies of the True Faith and forget their own salvation, and who teach contradictory beliefs without firm doctrine. They make no distinction between the different creeds, agree with everybody, and maintain that the haven of eternal salvation is open to sectarians of any religion. The diversity of their teachings does not concern them as long as they agree to combat that which alone is the Truth”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Singulari Quidem”, On the Church in Austria”, Monday, March 17, 1856,  ¶ 3; emphasis added).

Never will there be grief enough over the corruption of morals so extensively increasing and promoted by irreligious and obscene writings, theatrical spectacles and meretricious houses established almost everywhere; by other depraved arts and monstrous portents of every error disseminated in all directions; by the abominable impurities of all vices and crimes growing constantly and theDEADLY  VIRUS OF   UNBELIEF   AND   INDIFFERENTISM   spread far and wide...” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti [Tuesday, June 16, 1846 - Thursday, February 7, 1878], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Quanto Conficiamur Moerore”, On Promotion of False Doctrines, Monday, August 10, 1863, ¶ 3; emphasis added)

“1715 15 Every man is free to embrace and profess that religion which he, led by the light of reason, thinks to be the true religion (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Allocution, “Maxima Quidem,” Monday, June 9, 1862; Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Multiplices Inter,” Tuesday, June 10, 1851).

1716 16. In the worship of any religion whatever, men can find the way to eternal salvation, and can attain eternal salvation (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical “Qui pluribus,” Monday, November 9, 1846).

1717 17. We must have at least good hope concerning the eternal salvation of all those who, in no wise [way], are in the true Church of Christ (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical “Quanto Conficiamur,” Monday, August 10, 1863, etc.).

1718 18. “16. If those who are admitted as members are not commanded to abjure by any form of words the Catholic doctrines, this omission, so far from being adverse to the designs of the Freemasons is more useful for their purposes. First, in this way they easily deceive the simple-minded and the heedless, and can induce a far greater number to become members. Again, as all who offer themselves are received whatever may be their form of religion, they thereby teach the great error of this age -- that a regard for religion should be held as an INDIFFERENT matter, and THAT ALL RELIGIONS ARE ALIKE. This manner of reasoning is calculated to bring about the ruin of all forms of religion, and especially of the Catholic Religion, which, as it is the only one that is True, cannot, without great injustice, be regarded as merely equal to other religions” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, Gioacchino Vincenzo Pecci [Wednesday, February 20, 1878 - Monday, July 20, 1903], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Humanum Genus”, On Freemasonry, Sunday, April 20, 1884, ¶ 16; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Pius X's
Infallible Encyclical, “Acerbo Nimis”
Saturday, April 15, 1905, ¶ 1

“The enemy has, indeed, long been prowling about the fold and attacking it with such subtle cunning that now, more than ever  before, the prediction of the Apostle to the elders of the Church of  Ephesus seems to be verified: I know that . . . fierce wolves will get in  among you, and will not spare the flock [Acts 20:29].  Those who still are zealous for  the glory of God are seeking the causes and reasons for this decline in Religion. Coming to a different explanation, each points out, according to  his own view, a different plan for the protection and restoration of the  kingdom of God on earth. But it seems to Us, Venerable Brethren, that while we should not overlook other considerations, We are forced to agree with  those who hold that the chief cause of the present  INDIFFERENCE   and, as it  were, infirmity of soul, and the serious evils that result from it, is to  be found above all in ignorance of things Divine. This is fully in accord  with what God Himself declared through the Prophet Osee: And there is no  knowledge of God in the land. Cursing and lying and killing and theft and  adultery have overflowed: and blood hath touched blood. Thereafter shall  the land mourn, and everyone that dwelleth in it shall languish [Osee 4:1-3]”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Sarto [Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Acerbo Nimis”, On Teaching Christian Doctrine, Saturday, April 15, 1905, ¶ 1; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI's
Infallible Encyclical, “Mortalium Animos”
Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 9

“9. These pan-Christians who turn their minds to uniting the churches seem, indeed, to pursue the noblest of ideas in promoting charity among all Christians: nevertheless how does it happen that this charity tends to injure faith? Everyone knows that John himself, the Apostle of love, who seems to reveal in his Gospel the secrets of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and who never ceased to impress on the memories of his followers the new commandment ‘Love one another,’ altogether forbade any intercourse with those who professed a mutilated and corrupt version of Christ's teaching: If any man come to you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him: God speed you[2 John 1:10].

“For which reason, since charity is based on a complete and sincere faith, the disciples of Christ must be united principally by the bond of ONE Faith. Who then can conceive a Christian Federation, the members of which retain each his own opinions and private judgment, even in matters which concern the object of faith, even though they be repugnant to the opinions of the rest?

“And in what manner, We ask, can men who follow contrary opinions, belong to one and the same Federation of the Faithful? For example, those who affirm, and those who deny, that Sacred Tradition is a True fount of Divine Revelation; those who hold that an ecclesiastical hierarchy, made up of bishops, priests and ministers, has been divinely constituted, and those who assert that it has been brought in little by little in accordance with the conditions of the time; those who adore Christ really present in the Most Holy Eucharist through that marvelous conversion of the bread and wine, which is called Transubstantiation, and those who affirm that Christ is present only by faith or by the signification and virtue of the Sacrament; those who in the Eucharist recognize the nature both of a Sacrament and of a Sacrifice, and those who say that it is nothing more than the memorial or commemoration of the Lord's Supper; those who believe it to be good and useful to invoke by prayer the Saints reigning with Christ, especially Mary the Mother of God, and to venerate their images, and those who urge that such a veneration is not to be made use of, for it is contrary to the honor due to Jesus Christ, the one mediator of God and men.[Cf. 1 Timothy 2:15. ]

How so great a variety of opinions can make the way clear to effect the unity of the Church We know not; that unity can only arise from ONE teaching authority, ONE law of belief and ONE Faith of Christians. But We do know that from this it is an easy step to the neglect of religion or  INDIFFERENTISMand to MODERNISM,  as they call it. Those, who are unhappily infected with these errors, hold that dogmatic truth is not absolute but relative, that is, it agrees with the varying necessities of time and place and with the varying tendencies of the mind, since it is not contained in immutable revelation, but is capable of being accommodated to human life.

“Besides this, in connection with things which must be believed, it is nowise licit to use that distinction which some have seen fit to introduce between those articles of faith which are fundamental and those which are not fundamental, as they say, as if the former are to be accepted by all, while the latter may be left to the free assent of the faithful: for the supernatural virtue of faith has a formal cause, namely the authority of God revealing, and this is patient of no such distinction.

“For this reason it is that all who are truly Christ's believe, for example, the Conception of the Mother of God without stain of Original Sin with the same Faith as they believe the mystery of the August Trinity, and the Incarnation of our Lord just as they do the infallible teaching authority of the Roman Pontiff, according to the sense in which it was defined by the Ecumenical Council of the Vatican [Vatican I]....”(Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, Achille Ratti [Monday, February 6, 1922 - Friday, February 10, 1939], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Mortalium Animos”, On Religious Unity, Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 9; emphasis added).

Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI's
Infallible Encyclical, “Mortalium Animos”
Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 10

“10. So, Venerable Brethren, it is clear why this Apostolic See has NEVER ALLOWED its subjects to take part in the assemblies of non-Catholics: for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the ONE, TRUE Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left itTo the ONE, TRUE Church of Christ, We say, which is visible to all, and which is to remain, according to the will of its Author, exactly the same as He instituted it. ....

“For since the Mystical Body of Christ, in the same manner as His physical body, is ONE, [1 Corinthians 12:12] compacted and fitly joined together, [Ephesians 4:16] it is foolish and out of place to say that the Mystical Body is made up of members which are disunited and scattered abroad: WHOSOEVER therefore IS NOT UNITED WITH THE  [MYSTICAL]  BODY IS NOT A MEMBER OF IT, NEITHER IS HE IN COMMUNION WITH CHRIST ITS HEAD. [Cf. Ephesians 5:30; 1, 22]” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, Achille Ratti [Monday, February 6, 1922 - Friday, February 10, 1939], using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical “Mortalium Animos”, On Religious Unity, Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 10; emphasis added).

Brief Editorial Commentary by Patriarch Jacobus Maria DeJesus, D.D.

For JP-2 to publicly proclaim the Heresy of False Ecumenism and the Heresy of Religious Indifferentism by teaching that:
“… the Church, which seeks only to be able freely to preach … with respect for… every religion(Pope JP-2, Sermon, April 12, 1997, “L’Osservatore Romano”, The Official Vatican Newspaper, April 16, 1997, p. 3; emphasis added).

“It is extremely important to give a correct and fair presentation of the other Churches and ecclesial communities that the Spirit of Christ does not refrain from using as means of salvation; ‘moreover, some, even very many, of the outstanding elements and endowments which together go to build up and give life to the Church herself, can exist outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church’(V-2, Decree on Ecumenism, Unitatis Redintegratio, 3, November 21, 1964: AAS 57 (1965), p. 93.)  (JP-2, Apostolic Exhortation, “Catechesi Tradendae” - On Catechesis in Our Time, October16, 1979; emphasis added).

“The duty of respecting the faith of every person is at one and the same time correlative to the natural and civil right of liberty of conscience and religion” (Pope JP-2, Sermon, Sunday, February 24, 1980; emphasis added).

“The Council's attitude is sincere and respectful. It affirms that the [non-Catholic] Churches and ecclesial communities are not in fact deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. For the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation (UR 3)....  All this contains the impelling appeal for full unity”  (JP-2, General Audience, July 12, 1995; emphasis added).

is substantial proof that JP-2 is not only an Heretic, but an Apostate!

For the Convention of anti-Catholic Infiltrators, and of the NEW Theology Theologians - who were automatically excommunicated Modernist Heretics, a.k.a. Synod Vatican 2, to publicly proclaim the Heresy of False Ecumenism and the Heresy of Religious Indifferentism by teaching that:

“The brethren divided from us also use many liturgical actions of the Christian religion. These most certainly can truly engender a life of grace in ways that vary according to the condition of each Church or Community. These liturgical actions must be regarded as capable of giving access to the community of salvation.  It follows that the separated Churches and Communities as such, though we believe them to be deficient in some respects, have been by no means deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. The Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation which derive their efficacy from the very fullness of grace and truth entrusted to the Church” (CONVENTION of anti-Catholic Infiltrators - Communists, Freemasons, Illuminati, Zionists, etc. - Synod Vatican 2, Decree on Ecumenism, Unitatis Redintegratio, November 21, 1964, ¶ 3; emphasis added).
is substantial proof that the Convention of anti-Catholic Infiltrators, and of the NEW Theology Theologians - who were automatically excommunicated Modernist Heretics, a.k.a. Synod Vatican 2, is not only Heretical, but also Apostate!

The Convention of anti-Catholic Infiltrators, and of the NEW Theology Theologians - who were automatically excommunicated Modernist Heretics, a.k.a. Synod Vatican 2’s, Heresies and Apostasy, and also JP-2’s Heresies and Apostasy, were Condemneda priori  by:

Men, miserably deserting the norms of Truth, justice, and Religion, enslave themselves to their own evil and unbridled desires in resolute labor for all that is sinful” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Apostolicæ Nostræ Caritatis”, Urging Prayers for Peace, Tuesday, August 1, 1854, ¶ 2; emphasis added).

“3.  The  HIDEOUS   ERROR   OF   INDIFFERENTISM. This belief embraces people who have strayed from the Truth, who are enemies of the True Faith and forget their own salvation, and who teach contradictory beliefs without firm doctrine.   They maintain that the haven of eternal salvation is open to sectarians of any religion”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Singulari Quidem”, On the Church in Austria”, Monday, March 17, 1856,  ¶ 3; emphasis added).

“3.  The DEADLY  VIRUS   OF   UNBELIEF   AND   INDIFFERENTISM   spread far and wide...” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX,  using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Quanto Conficiamur Moerore”, On Promotion of False Doctrines, Monday, August 10, 1863, ¶ 3; emphasis added)

“16.  That a regard for religion should be held as an INDIFFERENT matter, and THAT ALL RELIGIONS ARE ALIKE” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Humanum Genus”, On Freemasonry, Sunday, April 20, 1884, ¶ 16; emphasis added).

But how can hearts be united in Perfect Charity where minds do not agree in Faith?” (Infallible  Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Præclara Gratulationis Publicæ, The Reunion of Christendom, Wednesday, June 20, 1894, ¶ 20; emphasis added).

“The enemy has, indeed, long been prowling about the fold and attacking it with such subtle cunning...The chief cause of the present  INDIFFERENCE... is to be found above all in ignorance of things Divine”  (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Pius X, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, “Acerbo Nimis”, On Teaching Christian Doctrine, Saturday, April 15, 1905, ¶ 1; emphasis added).

“The disciples of Christ must be united principally by the bond of one Faith” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Mortalium Animos, Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 9; emphasis added).

This Apostolic See has never allowed its subjects to take part in the assemblies of non-Catholics: for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left it” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Mortalium Animos, Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 10; emphasis added).

It were foolish and out of place to say that the Mystical Body is made up of members which are disunited and scattered abroad” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Mortalium Animos, Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 10; emphasis added).

Whosoever therefore is not united with the body is no member of it, neither is he in communion with Christ its head” (Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, using his Infallible Ordinary Magisterium, Promulgated his Infallible Encyclical, Mortalium Animos, Friday, January 6, 1928, ¶ 10; emphasis added).

Because Pope JP-2 publicly proclaimed the Heresy of False Ecumenism and the Heresy of Religious Indifferentism, as well as Apostasy, as exampled in his above false and erroneous teachings,

Pope JP-2 was condemned, a priori, by:

1.  Almighty God (2 John 1:10);
2.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Innocent III;
3.  Infallible Roman Catholic Twelfth Œcumenical Council, The Fourth Lateran Council;
4.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Gregory XVI, in 3 Infallible Encyclicals;
5.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, in 4 Infallible Encyclicals;
6.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius IX, in his Infallible “Syllabus of Errors”;
7.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIII, in 2 Infallible Encyclicals;
8.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Saint Pius X, in his Infallible Encyclical;
9.  Infallible Roman Catholic Pope Pius XI, in his Infallible Encyclical.
all quoted above, as an Heretic and as an Apostate from the Roman Catholic Church, who publicly proclaimed the Heresy that ALL people, which automatically includes ALL non-Catholics, are saved!

This Apostasy, this Heresy of False Ecumenism, and this Heresy of Religious Indifferentism  are all contrary to the Infallible Dogmatic Doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church which have been quoted above.

APOSTATE

"Now the Spirit manifestly saith, that in the last times some shall depart from the Faith [APOSTASY], giving heed to spirits of error, and Doctrines of Devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their conscience seared"  (1 Timothy 4:1-2; emphasis added).

Dear Visitors:

Please help Us to continue to provide the Truth,  which   all Catholics need to know,   in these days of deliberate confusion,   lies, brainwashing,  and   propaganda!

Some of Our web pages are the only places on the Internet where you will find some very important facts,  because some of these facts are from Our own many personal experiences,     as well as the result of Our meetings with many Catholic Traditional Clergy including various Patriarchs, Cardinals, Primates, Metropolitans, Archbishops, Bishops, and Religious and Secular Priests, over many, many, many decades,    plus    Our own eye-witness testimony,   concerning   some of the many, many, many changes, which began many, many, many decades,   before the many, many, many younger generations of Catholics were even born,   and    of which changes all of these so many, many younger generations of Catholics,   have no personal knowledge and/or personal experiences.

Most of these many changes    are not only   illegal,  but they are also   invalid,  and   most of them include the censure of  automatic excommunication of the perpetrators,  because, in reality, such changes by the cabal of   automatically excommunicated Innovators,   as well as   the secret gangs   of anti-Catholic Infiltrators,    are changes which are  anti-Catholic!

Discover what the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH teaches    about the UNCHANGEABLERoman Catholic Faith,   Mass, Sacraments,  etc., etc.

We have recently added what has quickly become Our very popular Editorial Pages on various subjects.

Knowledge

It is of the greatest importance that in order to gain assured knowledge of things, to rely on exact acquaintance with facts, rather than on the uncertain testimony of public rumor; and then what we have proved for certain we may proclaim without hesitation.
